Lisa and Charles have a taste for meeting and traveling. So they sought a place to nest chests and memories and landed between sea and mountain among the people of the South to capture their energy and cheerfulness. Their experience in the warm countries led them to this lovely apartment with its East / West exposure and pink marble floor that gives brightness and freshness during summer. The large terrace opens onto foliage of palm trees and stunning views on the sea lighting up in the morning, while the patio lined with Mediterranean and tropical plants, sunny in the afternoon, offers a space of life and relaxation. You can choose from the themed rooms, the Indian scenery of the spectacular parental room or the discreet invitation to travel of the African and vintage rooms. The ample kitchen opens onto the patio where a long dining table has been placed in the shade. The vast living room is divided into friendly spaces to share: dining-room, living room, offices. It is an easy place to live, perfectly designed for relaxing holidays by the sea, in a residential environment of quality.

But if you prefer socializing, you can easily get acquainted with residents or vacationers around one of the four swimming pools scattered in the Resort's gardens, which serve as a "social club." In the evening, you can go down the street with your new friends to the beach and the many typical seaside restaurants called "chiringuitos".

If you prefer "discovery" walks, get lost in the pedestrian streets of the historic center of Malaga, the capital of the Costa Del Sol and the birthplace of Picasso, at 15-minute drive away. Visit its ramparts and the extraordinary central market where you can eat tapas of fresh product. Lise and Charles have voluntarily selected the location of Benalmadena-Costa for their apartment, in order to position themselves on the central coastal axis of the most remarkable sites of Andalusia: Four minutes of two typical coastal villages: Arroyo de la Miel lively and Colorful, where is located the largest regional park of attraction the "Tivoli-Word"

Nearby, you’ll find Benalmadena Pueblo, a small white village hanging on a hill with a rustic charm, the leisure harbour of Puerto Marina with its luxury yachts, shops, bars and restaurants, and 5 minutes away, Torremolinos with its nightclubs and for the high rollers, the Casino of Torrequebrada is two minutes away.

Would you like to visit Alhambra? Granada is about an hour and a half away. You will reach Cadiz on the Atlantic coast in two hours. Cordoba, the beautiful Mozarabic town (a mixture of Christian and Muslim culture) is one hour and forty-five away. Finally, an hour and twenty will separate you from the mainland of the Straits of Gibraltar, at the gates of Morocco, for an exotic getaway on the other continent. Closer, the famous Marbella and its Jet-Set harbor are at thirty minutes. Another hour drive and you will reach the prodigious historical city of Ronda with its Andalusian-Muslim seal, perched on a vertiginous cliff and possessing the oldest bullring in Spain. The international airport is only 12 minutes away.

Farniente, nightlife, amusement and aquatic parks or zoo for the little ones, cultural gateaways or African scenery, like Lisa and Charles, you will return enjoy the Andalusian sun, because, they are persuaded, you will fall under the spell of the Site and people.

Thanks to its orientation - East / West – the apartment keep freshness throughout the day, while enjoying its sunny outdoor spaces that make it particularly bright. It is provided with air conditioning (reversible heating according to the season) in all rooms to be lived, a motion detector in each room (apartment alarm system), motorized louvers, and marble flooring over the entire surface.

The residence consists in varied gardens adorned with diverse botanical species, 4 large swimming pools and 2 children’s pools, children’s playground.

Why Stephane chose Torrequebrada

During the day, Puerto Marina throbs with activity. Kids of all ages will enjoy the Sealife Centre and accompanying crazy golf course, while keen shoppers can take a leisurely stroll along the water's edge, where a number of boutiques, gift shops and craft stores can be found. With a large Pizza Hut, a Ben and Jerry's kiosk and numerous drinking holes serving highly recognisable alcoholic beverages, you’re sure to feel at home... well, aside from the 30ºC plus heat of the summer months! Head away from the shore and Benalmádena also boasts a couple of beautiful parks (complete with shaded walkways and fragrant pine trees), plenty of pretty squares, a maze of quaint and peaceful residential streets and some fine shopping. For expats, Benalmádena has pretty much everything a family or couple could ever need, including The British College of Benalmádena, Benalmádena International College, the Peter Pan Nursery, the commercial district of Arroyo de la Miel and a wealth of British and Irish independent traders, on hand to assist with day-to-day living requirements, such as gardening, satellite TV installation and all those things that can get overlooked, such as getting your hair cut in a language you understand! And if that were not enough, Benalmádena is also home to the Selwo Marina, complete with performing dolphins, penguins and killer whales; as well as the Teleférico cable car, taking passengers to the top of the Calamorro Mountain. The compact size of Benalmádena makes the resort an easy one for planning a night out in. Hardcore party animals have it nice and simple – the 24-hour Square is home to approximately 20 pubs and clubs, all centred around a small square. Aside from a few fast-food outlets and a McDonalds, every establishment here is bright, glitzy, loud, open until late and keen to entice as many revellers inside as possible, leading to a number of exceptionally well-priced deals. Such competition for consumption obviously has its drawbacks.

What makes this Apartment unique

But generally the atmosphere is one of fun and frivolity rather than drunken menace and debauchery. Puerto Marina also has its fair share of late night bars and clubs. With higher prices and an ostensibly classier outlook, the bars found here are less crowded, but still wonderfully atmospheric and a firm favourite with youngsters, couples and families from Málaga, Europe and beyond. Elsewhere, the line of lovely pubs that front the coast road deliver a more sedate evening, where everyone is welcome, colourful cocktails are a common sight and the strained warblings of slightly inebriated karaoke waft on the still air. Besides eating, drinking and relaxing with friends and family in the comfort of the many welcoming pubs and eateries, Benalmádena's pretty promenade is ideal for romantic moonlit walks, while the Tivoli World Amusement Park hosts a number of shows, concerts and other social events throughout the summer. On the outskirts of town toward Fuengirola, Benalmádena's only five-star hotel – the Torrequebrada – boasts its own casino for those that fancy a flutter, as well as a spectacular flamenco show.

                                                                      Wow this apartment was definitely a 5 star, it was fabulous and close to everything, a 10 minute walk down hill brought you to everything you need to have a brilliant holiday, the beach and all shops, bars and restaurants are perfect and in great location. The hill back up to apartment is steep, however we got a taxi home everyday for €5 well worth it but if your fit you can walk it no problem. The apartment is very secure with 24hr security at front doors, felt safe at all times. The apartment is luxury with everything in it to a high standard it was so modern I just loved all the special touches that made it so beautiful, 3 fabulous bedrooms and bathrooms, and the living room to die for, front patio is massive and you can seat and chill in the evening and the back of the apartment is so big you can enjoy eating and relaxing the pool areas are class, we went to the pool closer to us and it felt like our own private pool. Stephen the manager of the apartment was brilliant and very helpful, he went out of his way to accommodate us we felt so comfortable knowing he was looking after us. Thank you. I would highly recommend this apartment it was fabulous. Had a great holiday and this apartment made it so perfect.

                                                                      This apartment is amazing everything the discription and photos say and more, 6 of us strayed here and more than enough space this place is huge. The apartment is on a hill which takes about 10/15 down to beach getting back up is a bit of a challenge but I am a unfit 50 year old and I done it, but if you don't fancy the walk taxi was around 6 euros, would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and thank you for letting us stay there

                                                                      We stayed in this apartment for 12 nights in July (family of 4). The apartment was exactly what you see in the pictures, very spacious with a huge sitting room. It was perfectly clean with plenty of towels provided. I really liked the outdoor space which is where we spent most of our time, there is a huge terrace at the back of the kitchen with table and chairs where we had our breakfast most mornings. There is another terrace at the front overlooking gardens and the road, where we sat on the rattan furniture in the evenings watching the world go by. It is in a very secure complex with a helpful concierge at the gate. There are 4 swimming pools but we only used the one closest to the apartment which was never very busy. There are no loungers around the pools so you have to bring your own. Location wise, it is about ten minutes walk to the nearest beach/shop. We didn't hire a car but would recommend as it is at the top of a hill which is fine going down but a bit of a challenge coming back up! The manager of the apartment, Stephan was very helpful to us with any queries we had and went out of his way to assist us. Overall we would recommend the apartment for families who want a bit of extra space . The area is very quiet, with lots of private villas on the road down to the beach. For eating out in Benalmadena, we would recommend Pasta Fresco (down from McDonalds on the beachfront)a lovely, very reasonable Italian. Would also recommend Luna Beach Club and Angus Steakhouse which are both on the beach just down from the Sunset Beach Club.

Benalmádena is a resort that has been stereotyped to within an inch of its life. Like that last sentence, it has become a cliché; something safe and recognisable, that to change what we think about it would be to challenge the foundations of what we hold to be true. Benalmádena is regarded as a sort of second-tier destination for tourists and homebuyers that cannot afford the delights of their neighbours in Marbella. Of course, there are two major things wrong with this attitude. For one, many people, regardless of financial clout, prefer somewhere like Benalmádena; unpretentious, welcoming and carefree. Secondly, Benalmádena has come a long way since the 80s and 90s. Today, this modern resort is a forward-thinking destination that has added oodles of culture, style and charm to its incumbent 'cheap ‘n cheerful' starting point. Sandwiched either side by Torremolinos and Fuengirola with barely a break in between, Benalmádena's architectural makeup is unashamedly different. While its neighbours streaked ahead in the package holiday race, Benalmádena grew at a more considered rate – today, the promenade is wide and spacious, backed by a long line of superb cafés, bars and restaurants, and fronted by a huge beach. The award-winning Puerto Marina yacht harbour combines living and office space, plenty of restaurants, a number of bars and shops and even a Sealife Centre into its unique shape and scope. Beyond this, the wide tree-lined streets are fresh and modern, hinting at a classically Spanish influence but quite international in their makeup. The atmosphere throughout town is impressively welcoming, with a distinct family-feel evident at every step. Indeed, aside from the plentiful late-night bars and clubs located on the 24-hour Square, the entire resort seems targeted at children, particularly Tivoli World, which is a mini theme-park located in the heart of Benalmádena. Dotted throughout town are plenty of two, three and four star hotels; all of which prove immensely popular with northern European holidaymakers, while the recently-built property developments on the northern outskirts of town have a wide cross-section of residents from all over the world. There are three main routes into Benalmádena. If you arrive via Torremolinos in the east, there is no discernible border between the two towns; they seemingly melt into one another until the distinctly more modern makeup of Benalmádena becomes apparent. Approach via the N340 highway that snakes its way around the edge of the town and you face a steep descent into the resort's heart, past a number of smart new apartments and the old Benalmádena Pueblo area before finally hitting the shoreline. From the western Fuengirola approach, the coast road dips and weaves, delivering lovely views of the Mediterranean while you zoom through the intriguing no-man's land in between. Whichever way you arrive at Benalmádena, your first move is likely to be one that involves making a beeline for the beach. Benalmádena has a couple of Blue Flag beaches, while every single stretch of sand is spotlessly clean, with safe and gentle surf all along, making them ideal for families with young children. Water sports enthusiasts will be buoyed by the choice of excellent activities on offer all along the beach. And once you're peckish after all this activity, you really are spoilt for choice along the promenade – fussy eaters will rejoice at the presence of a number of typically British establishments, while there are also some exceptional seafood restaurants to sample, too.
