Welcome to our “guest house” located in the heart of Mid-Town. This area has become the trendy, sought after, place to live in Reno. The area has everything a visitor to Reno would want. Yelp lists 57 restaurants in the mid-town area; virtually all of which are locally owned and operated, and are within a comfortable walk from your front door. The variety and quality of food available is truly wonderful, and new eateries are opening at an amazing pace. We also have lots of shops, galleries and boutiques just down the street, as well as two live theater companies within five blocks and a 16 plex movie theater less than a mile away.

The center of the downtown casino district is just over a mile to the north and the Peppermill Resort & Spa, Atlantis Resort & Spa and The Reno Convention Center are less than two miles south. The International Airport is three miles to the east (don’t worry, they take off and land north and south). If it sounds like we are in the middle of what’s happening, you are absolutely correct . . . location, location, location.

Almost forgot, great skiing is just twenty four miles up the road at Mt. Rose Resort, and Lake Tahoe is just over thirty five beautiful miles up the mountain, with 12 more world class ski areas. Hiking, biking, kayaking or just floating down the Truckee River on a tube, there are tons of great outdoor activities year-round with spectacular views.

The house is a two bedroom two bathroom two story home built on the back half of a fairly deep residential lot. Your main entrance is accessed from the alley between Arroyo and Caliente streets and has a reserved “off street” parking spot. The yard is completely fenced and has private patio with outdoor seating, a gas grill, as well as a small area for pets. The home has been renovated inside and out to make it a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy. It is well laid out for two couples or a family of four or five.

Our family has owned vacation rentals for over ten years and we have stayed in many, many short term rentals on vacation and on business, so we have tried very hard to make this a great place to stay while you enjoy Reno and all that this area has to offer. When we moved back to Reno a few years ago we knew that we wanted to live as close as possible to what this wonderful city has to offer. We wanted to be able to walk restaurants, entertainment, shopping and night life. We felt really fortunate to find two houses in mid-town that fit our dreams beautifully; we live in one of them and this is the other.

Excellent Property

We stayed here for 5 weeks in February and March of 2017 while visiting our daughter who recently moved to Reno. This is an excellent property. The house is clean and well maintained; in a great, quiet and safe neighborhood; fully equipped with everything we needed; excellent wifi; comfortable bed; off street parking; located in midtown so close to everything; and the owners are very responsive to email and any questions we had. We will certainly return!

Excellent house, excellent location

I stayed in the house with my husband and 2 kids for 4 weeks. It was a very nice experience. The house is very well equipped – it has absolutely everything you need to feel like home – and everything works. The owner is a very nice person, always answered to my questions quickly and was also a perfect host when we were there, very helpful and gentle all the times.

The house is in the coolest neighborhood in town. We could walk to nice restaurants, breweries and to the supermarket. It is also 40 minutes away from the university (walking) or 15 minutes in an easy bike ride. Definitely would stay there again!

Great townhouse!

Stayed for a week while visiting family. Quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed, plenty of room & the patio / grill was enjoyable. Nicely decorated & well organized. Would stay again.

Convenient location; nice condo

Nice condo which is bigger than it appears in the pics. Condo was very clean and very organized. Plenty of extra towels and even extra bedding. Owner was easy to work with prior to arrival and provided suggestions and additional info in the condo regarding restaurants, grocery stores, etc. This unit worked great for our four adults and toddler. Our pack and play fit in the upstairs bathroom nicely, but could have also fit in the largest bedroom should you want your child in the room with you. Wi-fi, grill, oven and washer/dryer were all used and worked.

Great Condo centrally located!

Two couples spent 3 nights at this condo and found it was perfect for our needs. The unit was very well equipped and everything we wanted to see was within a mile and a half. The owner was kind enough to give us suggestions as to restaurants and to alert us to the motorcycle rally that weekend. We were very comfortable and are already thinking about another trip to Reno in the spring and will stay in this condo.

Good location, good neighborhood

Great place to stay! Location is convenient, neighborhood was safe, accommodations were very home-like. Home is clean and Bob was very easy to work with. He made sure we had all of the necessary info prior to arrival. Just an FYI for visitors: there is only space for 1 car to park next to the house. Other cars can park on the street, a short walk away.
