About the property

180 m2 holiday home on the very coast of Tenerife, on a quiet residential area

This is a new attached 180 m2 holiday home with Access to a pool, on the area called La Quinta, the coastal area just near Puerto de la Cruz. The house, inside a quiet safe resort of houses, offers lots of privacy on both outdoor spaces, South terrace and the North terrace, that guarantees that you take the most of the sunshine on the mornings and the afternoon. This house is ideal for guests fond on sports, as the area is ideal for cycling and specially because there is an excellent sport center (Euros 6 per day) with pools and guided sports lessons, many activities and a coffee place. There is a large pool on the resort in for energetic swimmers. It is also a good choice for families, as the house has got 4 bedrooms and lots of space, and also there is a children pool apart from the large big one. Quite close from a hotel with a restaurant and a spa, also a taxi stop, and a Tasca restaurant for tapas. Only 3 minutes away you have several supermarkets like LIDL or Mercadona (good value) and a couple of restaurants and 2 minutes more you find the tourist town of Puerto de la Cruz, with its long avenues near the sea, squares, restaurants and all the entire Spanish atmosphere. The house has got marble floors and quality materials. This residential place is secluded and safe, with perfectly maintained gardens and pools. The biggest terrace has a barbacue, comfortable outdoor furniture on both terraces. The area has ideal temperatures all year round: warm in winter and reasonable fresh in summer. It is also very nice to do some walks as there are some paths and nice "miradores" to sit down watching the sea views. It is also a very quiet area but close with very easy Access to Puerto de la Cruz. The house is really ample and the bedrooms upstairs have some sea views.

Why Ana B. Reid chose Santa Úrsula

Being on the very coast guarantees you to have good weather all year round. In winter the coast has a very soft temperature (around 10ºC more than the mountain) and in summer you have the fresh air coming from the sea. On the other hand, you rarely find anyone on the pool area and the house is comfortable and new, made with good materials.

What makes this house unique

I recommend this house not only because its perfect location next to Puerto de la Cruz. A car is recommended but not totally essential as the bus service is very good here and you can also move by taxi (very reasonable in Tenerife) . Extremely quiet area but good communications everywhere.

After 20 years selecting houses in Tenerife for my guests, I found this house and I decided inmediately to include it on my portfolio. The área has ideal temperatures all year round: warm in winter and reasonable fresh in summer. Beautiful house in a lovely setting. Very spacious and well equipped both inside & outdoors.

The house is very modern & spacious. The kitchen is well equipped with an eating area. Full oven (we felt instructions would be useful), dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. Washing machine was very useful with 2 young children in the party. 4 bedrooms (1ensuite) lots of wardrobes. Large family bathroom and 1downstairs toilet.

The lounge is very comfortable with large dining table. TV but no English channels. Outdoors there are 2 patios both well furnished.

Contact with the owner was excellent and they kindly came to fit 2 safety gates for the childrens safety.

Lovely swimming pools but were rather cold (weather in April still a little chilly).

Not a lot to do in the immediate area and a car is definitely needed. Short drive to Puerto de la Cruz, La Orotava etc. Plenty of parking spaces.

We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for families.

home from home comfort

The villa was gorgeous, equipped with everything you needed, beds very very comfortable, clean ,tidy, spaciuos. there are a few walks around, plenty of room round swimming pool, in walking distance to lidels....only one thing i would say is no english tv.. we do like to watch the news and we couldnt, but that is only one little downer to what was a lovely stay at this villa.

Great property - highly recommended

This property was very well located although a car is necessary to get around. Close to Puerto de la Cruz - about 10 mins drive and within walking distance of a couple of good supermarkets although a bit of a hill climb to get there. The property itself is very clean and well maintained with everything you could ask for. Only 1 small issue and that was with the shower in the master bedroom en suite. There is only a shower curtain round the bath and the curtain has to be stuck to the wall to prevent the floor getting soaked, a shower screen would be far better. Everything else within this property was great and it looked as though all the equipment and utensils etc were fairly new. Also has a BBQ in the rear patio area which came in very handy. Would definitely look at re-booking if visiting this area again.

Such a great place away from the usual tourist hot spots but close enough to Puerto de la Cruz to enjoy good restaurants.
