Amazing - we all wanted to stay
We had a fantastic time - it was my 50th birthday - we stayed for 4 days and did not want to come home!! Age range in our family 2 - 63 - beautiful home from home in our favourite part of the Yorkshire Dales - lots of football in the garden - searching for Peter Rabbit and lovely breakfast sat outside admiring the view! Wanted to book again for another family birthday treat but it's fully booked! I am not surprised- thank you we loved Carlton Hall
A beautiful property in a very pretty village
This is an amazing property! It is very welcoming and you feel immediately at home. Your every need is catered for. It is spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and pillows, lovely duvets and towels. Also thank you for the lovely welcome pack which was indeed very welcome!
The outside space is wonderful and we were fortunate enough to have gorgeous weather which allowed us to sit outside and also room enough for the children to play. There are many walks from the house and a stroll to the pub so we didn't need to use the car at all.
We were at the property for May Bank Holiday and for the Tour de Yorkshire which came through the village. There was such a lovely community feel as everyone got involved in some way. People were so friendly and welcoming.
We had a truly wonderful family weekend - our ages ranging from 7 to 68 - and would love to return some day.
Fabulous house in beautiful surroundings very well equipped & loads of space for all
Loved it. Loads of space for grandparents, parents & granddaughters
Beautiful peaceful break
We had a fabulous time in carlton Old Hall, the cottage is so cosy and inviting, and the welcome hamper really made it extra special. We particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife from the garden, and had a couple of great evenings in the local pub!
Stunning Old Hall in perfect location.
We gathered at Carlton Old Hall to celebrate a special 75th birthday, and discovered the many delights of this beautiful old building, sympathetically restored with great care and attention to it’s age, and decorated in a relaxed
but stylish manner. Cosy log fires, 4 great bedrooms, toasty Aga, fabulous location and great Dale views from every window. I could go on .......
The owners obviously love this house very much, and so did we - none of us
wanted to leave ..... but I’m sure we’ll be back.
A great place to stay for our family celebration weekend
Our stay at Carlton Old Hall was wonderful. The beautiful cottage was spacious, housing the seven of us for our weekend in real comfort. Cosy warm fires with picture perfect snow to look out on or to venture out to play in. Highly recommended.
