Lovely cottage.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have recently spent four days at this accommodation (October 2017), and to be honest,we could not fault it.

This renovated property has been done to a high standered, has everything you need, and is surrounded by lovely countryside.

Highly recommended.

Perfect Holiday Cottage

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was extremely well appointed with everything ( except a potato masher!) that we wanted. We had 4 adults in our party and there was plenty of space for us all. We would certainly recommend this to our friends and, who knows, if our overseas guests visit again we may be back!

Charming country retreat

  • 5 of 5

I took my daughters (aged 8 and 10) to the Lakes in July 2017 and stayed here for 4 nights. Although the weather was poor, we had a lovely stay. The cottage is charming, very homely, comfortable and well equipped. We didn't mind staying in during the couple of rainy days we had. During drier spells, the kids enjoyed playing in the huge garden and wild flower meadow, which was wonderful. The location is good for accessing Grizedale forest, windermere and Consiton, and set in some lovely, quiet countryside. Sally was a friendly host, and I would certainly recommend this property to families or anyone wanting to do some serious walking in the local countryside.

Spacious and well equipped cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a long weekend in at the end of July. We wanted somewhere away from the most popular areas as it was summer holiday time and the cottage didn't disappoint. The cottage and the area are very quiet but within easy reach of Coniston, Hawkshead etc. Rusland is also a very pretty area in its own right. We found the rooms spacious and the upstairs living room has a lovely view.

Lovely cottage and gardens.

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed staying at the cottage. Everything there for us all new but in keeping. Looked out over countryside from every window. Had barbecues in the summer house. Lovely garden. Went on lake Windermere boat tour the steam train and to the motor museum. All three for £22 which was very reasonable. Also visited Ambleside and Ulverston. Lovely holiday and friendly owners.
