It was like walking into your old family cottage that you summered in all your life but in fact, had never been to before. The house is easy to live in with seamless inside, outside access. The terraces - there are many - are oriented for sun or shade all day long. With my two teenage daughters and my oldest girlfriend, we four women felt completely safe with the folding French doors open all day and night. The house is nestled into the hillside and exposed only to the bay below. It truly is very private. We swam everyday from the rocks by the shore. My daughters swam with meter-wide sea turtles (I counted 7 in our little bay). Jesse and Natalia could not have been more hospitable. They went out of their way to help us - even rustling up snorkel and flippers to loan my girls for the week. It was like having your favourite cousins lend you their beach house for a week or so - or as long as you liked. They were like family - but only there if you needed them. Jesse showed me how to use his propane bar-b-que and we cooked fresh fish with salads and ate al fresco under the stars. We often drove into Kas at night - when the town would come alive - and dine and shop till after midnight. We took the 30 mins ferry to Kastellorizo, (also known as Meis) a tiny Greek island in view from our terrace. We also went to Patara beach - one of the longest beaches in the world and almost deserted, apart from the one area with restaurant, rental chairs and change rooms. But mostly, we just wanted to hang out at Jesse and Natalia's beautiful, perfect, home. We loved it and want to return.
We had an amazing stay. The view, bright light and privacy are unmatched to any other property in the area. The clear water in the cove is amazing to swim in. There's plenty of other visitors that make it safe to swim and if you are lucky enough in the morning you'll get to swim with turtles. Jesse is a great host and is always on hand to get what ever you need. Great stories, history of the area and places that you should visit.
There's is plenty to visit in the area so a car was great as we could drive to all the different beaches. There is a bus that can take you to town and all locations but it's on a schedule. A boat trip is also fun as you get to visit places inaccessible by car.
The villa was a very memorable part of our trip, something we wont forget for a while.
I think this is one of the best places I have stayed. The villa is on the peninsula overlooking a small turquoise bay that you have almost to yourself! The huge living room has glass doors and windows all around so it is wonderful and bright, and you can open them out fully to enjoy the view from anywhere in the house. There are also loads of different terraces so you can usually find some shade at all times of the day (it was 30 degrees everyday even at the end of september). The area itself is also great. We spent a lot of time just relaxing at the house, but there are lots of sights close by including ancient ruins and sunken villages. Also a trip across to the greek island just 30 mins away on the ferry is lovely. Jesse was a great host, and I will definitely be back!
Tom and I just returned home after a week renting Jesse’s beautiful villa home. It was one of our most enjoyable holidays ever. His home is truly idyllic. Every morning we woke up to the view of paradise, every evening we barbequed and dined in front of it. Days were spent snorkelling in the turquoise cove below that is only a few steps down from the villa; exploring local ruins and beaches; shopping and dining in Kas. Most days we just wanted to hang out at the house though. Everything you need is supplied: multiple terraces, private outdoor shower, simple kitchen and laundry, beautiful bathroom, lounge chairs/umbrellas, and a cool collection of Turkish music and 70s/80s classic cassettes! We felt like we were staying in the home of an old friend who treated us as same. I’m sure we will return again.

FYI, we flew in to Antalya on Onurair from Istanbul’s Ataturk airport, rented car and drove down to Kas (2.5 hours). Then we flew out from Dalaman (2 hour drive) and returned car there. It worked out perfectly and got to see a bit more of the surrounding area. Car rental was cheap and with full insurance coverage and really glad we had vehicle at our disposal (booked car online through: economycarhire.com They had great service locally through Almira car rentals. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time in Kas and loved this beautiful, light-filled villa. All the doors open up to bring in the breeze and sunshine. We spent hours just staring into the beautiful turquoise sea. The multiple terraces are all very private with beautiful views. The house was clean, well kept and very comfortable.
Kas is about a 30 minute walk from the house but it is very easy to catch the mini-bus into town.. We did not have a car for our stay and never needed one.
Jesse is a wonderful host.
