From the moment we drove up to this exquisite cottage we were enchanted! It really is the most perfect place we have ever stayed. You can tell by the attention to detail that the owners have taken with the renovation of the building and interiors that it was a project of love. We were even delighted to be able to compost our leftovers. ..and that was a gift to the local magpie as well. Each evening we stood in the doorway and listened as the rooks came in to roost. We could not have dreamed of a more perfect week to end our first trip to Ireland. I was only sorry that Margaret was out of town and we did not get to meet her. Thanks for a memorable visit!!!
🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 wonderful

Stone coach house.
Very nice property, nicely redecorated
The owners have done a wonderful job of restoring this property. Mark was very helpful in helping us find our way to the property. It was very relaxing. We loved our 3 day stay!
Maggie and Mark were the most welcoming and warm hosts! The Stone House was comfortable and pictures dont do it justice!
Our party of four stayed for two days in early September in this lovely cottage atmosphere rental. We loved the natural fireplace and the quiet surroundings. The hosts, Margaret and Mark are welcoming and go over and above to ensure your stay is pleasant.
Inistioge village is located beside the river Nore in the South East of Ireland. The village has a number of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Either side of the village you can take easy walks along the river bank in peaceful countryside. Above the village is the Woodstock demense and House whose gardens have been restored to their former glory, which at one time were considered one of the great gardens of Ireland.
In Thomastown (7Kms) there is the famous Jerpoint Abbey and in Kilkenny (15kms) there is the Castle and Rothe house and a number of churches and Cathedrals.Waterford (44Kms) is only 40mins drive away where there is a museum of local history and buildings of historical interest.
