Sanderling Lodge, a large detached Lodge that has recently been renovated and is a great location for families to relax and unwind. This lodge has five bedrooms and can sleep up to 9/10 people. Located just half a mile from Meylers Pub and Restaurant, Close to Our Lady's Island and within 10km of Rosslare Strand, Carne Beach and 15km from Wexford Town.

The Lodge itsself has a very large kitchen, with a panoramic view, a living room area, self-contained one bedroom annex, called "The Swifts Return", and snug area with views over the countryside and out to sea.

With five bedrooms, sleeping up to 9 people, large dining area, large garden, outdoor patio, it is the perfect place for a large group of friends, extended family, or a couple of families to get together for a self-catering holiday in Wexford.

House Layout

The kitchen is fully equipped for your holiday needs and also has a large dining table that can seat up to 12 persons.

The utility room has a washing machine and dryer.

The patio door off the kitchen leads to a patio area with views over the country landscape and towards the sea. It comes complete with garden furniture.

Downstairs

A complete furnished one bedroom self-contained self-catering annex called "The Swifts Return" is located in the downstairs of the lodge, the annex has a double bedroom, shower room and fully fitted kitchen area.

There is one bedroom downstairs; the bedroom has one double bed with garden views.

The sitting room is also located downstairs and has a television and a stove.

There is a toilet downstairs with free standing shower, basin and wc that is located in the Annex.

Upstairs there are a further three bedrooms, one bedroom with double bed and en suite shower room with basin and wc.

The second bedroom has two single beds, the third bedroom has a single bed with option of an extra pull out trundle bed. All rooms have views to the sea and the Saltee Island,

There is a separate bathroom upstairs with shower, basin and wc.

A damage deposit of 400 will be requested on arrival, this is returned on departure once the house is left in a clean and tidy condition.

Electricity usage is extra and charged at .25 cent per unit used, payable directly to the caretaker on departure

Oil usage is extra and charged at .95 cent per unit used, payable directly to the caretaker on departure

We look after all materials which can be recycled. This does not include nappies, food waste and normal bin material. Please ensure that you take all material which must be disposed of in a bin with you. There is a “pack a sac” machine in Killinick nearby where you can dispose of bin rubbish.Rubbish tags are €7 for 2 Bags of rubbish if removed by guest. If the caretaker is removing rubbish it is charged at €10 per 2 bags.

There is a 100 euro cleaning fee if it's not given back in the same condition.

Pets

One small dog is permitted once we are notified at the time of booking.

Family Gathering

Sanderling is a wonderful location for family get-togethers & special occasions. It's filled with lots of natural light and is extremely spacious. The owners couldn't have been more helpful & responded immediately if we had any queries. The big room at the rear of the house is ideal for family meals & a great space for children, with toys/dressing-up box at one end. There's a separate dining room which we used quite a bit & left the large room for the children to play before bedtime/teens watching tv. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage, & the annex is ideal for parents/grandparents/couples with an excellent kitchen, dining & sitting room& bathroom ensuite. It's a wonderful family home from home.
