Nicely appointed, superior property in a good location. On the beach with different private areas to be in and out of the sun. A short walk away from town are several upscale restaurants.
Town is a 15 minutes walk. Local buses stop near the house.
Thank you very much dear Peter for your good words,
you are always welcome!
Pictures of property OUTDATED. Terrible Environment. Go elsewhere!
My family was booked for a 4 night stay, and once we saw the area, we sought other lodging. The property is right next to an abandoned building and warehouse full of trash and graffiti. The beautiful pictures on the property listing of the sea-front with lounge chairs and beautiful landscaping don't exist! Maybe this was the property 5 years ago, but not now. I did not feel comfortable having my family there. We left without unpacking our car. It is a shame VRBO does not verify its listings on a periodic basis. This just about ruined our entire vacation when we had to scramble to find new accommodations. I wish I could attach pictures to this review to show what we saw!
We are very sorry to respond to ths review of someone that did not stay to our villa.
The first complain was a fly, then smell and dump.
We do not have smell or dump at our villa.
After that we had to manage with threatenings that we were going to have so bad review that noone will book our villa again, if we did not give her money, I wish that Homeaway has recorded this phonecall.
And then she said that other buildings at the neighbourhood are not nice.
The villa is better than the photos because we have made extra works.
This quest is not recomented from us, and future hosts have to be very careful.
We stayed in the middle 2 weeks of September. Everything is as advertised. The villa is well equiped albeit a small open kitchen (but we knew that), nice and airy rooms and serviced with very efficient air conditioning. Villa cleaned and bedding and towels changed every 3/4 days and Alina who looked after us was fabulous. To wake up to the sound and view of the sea every day made the holiday, and with a good private outside area for eating which was blessed with shade all day. You have to be there to believe how close you are to the shore and there were plenty of loungers available at no extra cost. Walk into Rethimno about 20 minutes and the old town is charming with loads of places to eat. There were some concerns prior to our holiday having read some issues about the behaviour of the owner when around the properties. We encountered no such concerns during our stay and so thanks to all for a wonderful 2 weeks.
Hello dear Mr Mike,
thank you very much for your review and your kindness.
You are always wellcome.
tolle Unterkunft, super Lage, netter Vermieter, traumhafter Urlaub
