Roseneath House occupies a truly outstanding, easily accessible, semi-rural location almost equidistant between the beautiful and historical cities of Bristol and Bath. Built in the late 1850s the building has been transformed into a stylish and modern home with a reassuringly classic ambience ensuring that the expectations of our guests are met, without detracting from the history of the building. The six en-suite bedrooms each has its own unique décor providing groups of up to 15 guests with a relaxed experience.

The large kitchen is a space that works perfectly for groups, providing a convenient layout that allows you to be sociable and cook at the same time. There’s plenty of room to move about in, plus ample worktop space, modern kitchen appliances and table and chairs. Bifold doors allow access to the rear large natural gardens with hot tub surrounded by fields. There is an expansive lounge/dining room to accommodate the entire group. The delights of either Bath or Bristol cities are close by, the train from Keynsham is only a 15 minute walk away, bus routes and park and ride are both on hand or alternatively book a taxi.

Most beautiful property that has everything!

We stayed for a weekend at this beautiful house for a hen do of 11 ladies in April. It was a truly incredible property with a very accommodating host who was very easy to contact. The hot tub and the mega sound system were a great touch and the most feedback from the other ladies was how amazing the beds were and the kitchen that had everything. My family are currently looking at booking another weekend here! Thank you Paul for your hospitality.

Wonderful property with every facility you could need. Large group areas and each bedroom had a wonderful bathroom. Very pleased with our stay and our helpful and accommodating host. Would love to return during the summer months when the hot tub is up and running. Thank you

Beautiful 5 star house!

We stayed at Roseneath house for a girls weekend and it blew everyone away. The rooms are large and spacious, amazing sound system and smart TVs, huge comfty beds and impressive en-suites. Paul was so lovely and helpful and everyone wants to come back and stay again! Lovely pubs within walking distance too, you really can't ask for more.

Beautiful, spacious house with great location

The house is stunning with huge rooms for a large group, the kitchen is enormous and so well stocked. The setting and location were also ideal. The rooms are really luxurious all with TVs and all with en suites, there’s also a great sound system in the main lounge. Safe to say we had the best weekend here and would love to come back!

A Wonderful family Christmas

We stayed here as a family group of 10 for three nights over Christmas in this fantastic 6 bed property, All the bedrooms were of a good size with a couple being extremely spacious, and all were furnished to a high standard with very comfortable beds.They also all had good quality large Smart Televisions.The bathrooms were all excellent and ours was huge, with a big walk in shower, whilst the family room had a double headed shower and stand alone bath.

The open plan lounge diner, was ideal for either relaxing around the fire on the sofas or accommodating the whole group around the table, for Christmas dinner.The owner Paul had kindly put up some lovely decorations and a large real Christmas tree which helped make the atmosphere festive at dinner.Also The huge Sony sound system was a bonus for providing background music throughout our stay.

The Huge modern kitchen was extremely well equipped, with a good sized breakfast table and a lovely set of bi-fold doors at the far end.There were plenty of pans and tins for cooking our Christmas dinner, the only small negative was the hard to light gas cooker burnt food on the bottom (not a major issue).The electric cooker was a little on the small side, and a couple of the gas hobs didn’t work.That said, we were very thankful of having two microwaves, two toasters, two dishwashers, a massive wine fridge, a space age kettle, about 5 sinks, and enough glassware, cutlery and crockery to host a substantial garden party.

Talking of gardens, although the weather wasn’t kind to us the grounds are a good size, nicely landscaped and would be great to enjoy in the warmer months.Car parking was plentiful for the 5 cars we’d brought.The house is just off a busy country road but at no time did we hear the traffic and the views from all the rooms are of rolling countryside, so we felt very secluded throughout our stay .

To sum up, this was an ideal place to host a family gathering in a very picturesque, well equipped Georgian style house, that all members of our group agreed was a wonderful choice for our Christmas stay.

Many Thanks to Paul for sharing your lovely house, we would happily stay here again in either the whole house or in its capacity as a B & B.

Beautiful property

We hired the property for a group of us with children for 3 nights. It is a beautiful house, lovely high ceilings, large rooms and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is one for the best equipped kitchens I have ever been in, it has everything! It has a large range cooker and a gas Aga, for cooking for a large number of people. There is a big garden. The bedrooms are fantastic, they are all en suite and beautifully decorated. The property also has WiFi.

I cannot recommend this property enough for a group stay or a B&B.
