Beautiful villa with private garden and private parking for 1 car. The villa has a very large front and rear terrace. The property is fully airconditioned. Just seven bungalows share the communal garden and pool. This resort is lovely and peaceful outside the main season but bursts into life in July and August when the Spanish start to holiday. The crystal waters of the Mar Menor are a short walk away with its warm calm and shallow waters being ideal for young children. On the other side of the peninsula (5-10 minute drive) is the Calblanque national park with fantastic beaches fronting the Mediterranean sea. The nearby small town of Los Belones has a very wide choice of bars, restaurants, shops and banks. The property is 10 minutes drive from the famous La Manga Club resort and the beautiful fishing port of Cabo de Palos. A little further afield in the historic town of Cartagena with its Roman ruins.

A two minute walk to the Blue flag Mar Menor beaches. The beaches are very clean and safe for children. The Mar Menor itself is a natural salt water lagoon spanning some 27k long and 9km wide. It is shallow and great for bathing, water sports etc. The deepest point in the centre is a mere 7 metres. The lagoon is protected from the Mediterranean Sea by La Manga strip. A ten minute drive to the Calblanque national park with fantastic beaches fronting the Mediterranean sea.
Murcia airport is 20-30 minutes away by motorway. Car hire is easy from Murcia airport or taxis can be arranged. Alicante airport is 60-90 minutes away. While car hire is advised it is not essential for the fit and able as all facilities can be accessed by walking or hiring of bikes

There are markets in each village every day of the week but they all come together on a Sunday morning at Cabo de Palos which is a fabulous unspoilt fishing village with lovely marina and amazing seafood restaurants overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
The Nature reserve and marine park of Calblanque is on 10 minutes away and offers secluded unspoilt beaches and rugged coastline.
The capitol city of Murcia is a Mecca for shops and baroque architecture and is only 40 minutes drive away.
Shops are open from 9 – 14:00 and from 17:00 – 20:00. The hours between 14:00 and 17:00 are siesta time when the Spanish enjoy their very long lunches and a snooze avoiding the hottest part of the day.
There are also 2 huge shopping complexes – 1 at Parque Mediterraneo which has a Carrefour hypermarket (Normal opening times) this is 10 minutes drive in the direction of Cartagena.
The other is Dos Mares at San Javier – 20 minutes drive and is open 365 days a year from 10:00 – 22:00 and hosts a Carrefour supermarket.
