Hillside Property with Panoramic Views - Sleeps eight
West Coast Cottages
Grand and more
This is a first class property in a prime location. Very clean, comfortable and with a view to die for. We had a couple of little niggles at first but they were sorted out tout suite by the admirable Gemma. We had intended to eat out every other day but the house was so well equipped and the outlook so amazing we just stocked up and had the most wonderful meals on the decking. We will, as a certain McArthur, once said, return.
Just returned from a lovely stay at Grannda Mhor. Cottage was perfectly situated, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need to produce a meal. The view from the patio was stunning and we never tired of watching the changing vistas.
A slight negative were the very warm duvets...the weather was wet and warm with a few midges about when we arrived so we couldn’t sleep with the windows open!
We were a group of sea kayakers so Arduaine is a fantastic location. After a day’s paddling it was great to return to the comfort of Grandha Morr.
The kitchen was well equipped (a water jug being the only thing lacking)!!
We stayed for 2 weeks with 2 different groups and arranged with the cleaners a mutually convenient time to change the bedding and clean the bedrooms.
A brilliant stay.
We had a great week at Grannda Mhor. Spacious accommodation, comfortable furniture . An extremely well stocked kitchen. The views from the house are amazing. Plenty to do. We highly recommend this.
Wonderful place to stay for a Winter Wedding
We were invited to a winter wedding at Lungha Castle and this holiday home was a wonderful place to stay. Superb view of the bay and all the way to the Paps of Jura. House is very well equipped and lovely and warm - although the heating system a bit fiddly to try to alter. The only slight problem we had was with the directions to find it which need more reference points - like the phone box and the sign announcing Arduaine and to say to turn up the steep road just at the tiny bridge.
Just had the most wonderful little holiday at Granndha Mhor! It’s in a beautiful location on the West Coast of Scotland, offering guests a stunning panorama across the sea from the huge lounge windows/doors (the sunsets were a sheer delight to watch!). The wildlife and walks on your doorstep are super (I especially enjoyed seeing all the little red squirrels at Arduaine Garden, with their cute little tufty ears - they’re very comical, and the gardens are literally just across the road from the house). Although we did some of our own cooking (after visiting the fish mongers in Oban for scallops and halibut straight out the sea)... we also had some lovely meals out at the Loch Melfort Hotel and The Lord Of The Isles pub (both are just a short drive away). I would thoroughly recommend staying at Granndha Mhor and hope to go back again one day (we booked through West Coast Cottages who were great and very quick to get back to us whenever we had any questions during our stay)!
Hillside location overlooking Asknish Bay, Arduaine.
