This 2nd floor 1 bedroom apartment is situated in a fabulous position overlooking Rue de la Republique, the main pedestrian street of the Old Town. In the evenings enjoy a pre dinner wine with local nibbles while watching the world go by from the balcony, it's better than TV! And try to resist the goodies from the 'Boulangerie' directly opposite for breakfast. It's a minute walk to 2 local supermarkets and a couple of minutes to the Provencal Market.
On entry to the apartment you come to the spacious living area with access to the balcony with table & chairs, free internet, telephone with free fixed line calls including international, Flatscreen TV,Cable channels with 7 news and 7 entertainment channels in English, & DVD, with DVD's . To the left the bedroom with en-suite bathroom, with bath/shower and hotel style toiletries. To the right fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher. portable air-con. unit in the bedroom. Tastefully decorated & has lovely beamed ceilings.
Provided for the beach are towels, umbrella and cooler bag.

Wonderful apartment in Antibes, close to shopping, restaurants and train station
We enjoyed the bright and airy decor and the great little balcony that overlooks rue de la Republique. Despite the activity below, the apartment was quiet at night. The location was outstanding for shopping, restaurants and exploring old Antibes. We also liked that it was handy to the train station for traveling along the Côte d’ Azur.
Michele was a gracious host and was most helpful during the rental process. We hope to return to Antibes someday and would love to stay in the apartment again.
Beautiful apartment in an ideal location Antibes
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very beautifully decorated and well equipped apartment in Antibes. The lovely and very friendly owner Michelle has given every attention to detail and thought for your stay here. From the coffee maker to the beach and picnic equipment to the hotel style toiletries and fluffy towels! Much appreciated.
The apartment is just a stones throw away from everything a great holiday requires. Restaurants, bars, shops, a boulangerie just outside the front door for the freshest croissant, museums, beaches, beautiful walks, the most amazing Marché Provençal, the port with all those incredible yachts the list is just endless and all within walking distance from the apartment.
To go further a field to the many surrounding places of interest the bus and train stations are also just moments away. No car required!! Recommended visits Ville Franche and Ezé both easily traveled to by train.
Recommended restaurant has to be Le Brulot pasta & Vino. Yummy!

Ideal apartment for exploring Antibes
This apartment is ideally placed for exploring the centre of old Antibes but is also close enough to the railway station and bus station to go for trips of the surrounding towns
The apartment was attractive and had everything one needs for a holiday stay
There are two fights of stairs so disabled travelers would need to consider this before booking

Great Place To Stay!!
This is a nice apartment in a great location.
The apartment has a good level of comfort. Light & airy open plan living area with very comfortable sofa, well equipped kitchenette & dining area.
The bedroom has loads of wardrobe & hanging space (rare in France), & a very comfortable bed.
Disregard an earlier review which complained about a bright streetlight outside the bedroom. I can only assume that this person was unaware that he could close the shutters as well as the curtains!!
It's the location of this apartment which really gives it top marks.
Step outside & everything you want is on your doorstep.
With so much to see & do in such close proximity, we actually spent very little time in the apartment. But when we were there we lived on the little balcony, stepping inside just to fix a snack or grab a beer from the fridge.
The pedestrian street below is buzzing from early morning. The passers by don't seem to notice you as you sit above them watching the world go by, but now & then you'll catch someones eye & get a friendly smile or a wave.
Don't worry about noisy nights, the cafe/bars accross the street close around 8pm & with the doors & windows closed the apartment is as quiet as any hotel bedroom. (Don't panic, not all the bars in Antibes close at 8pm, just the 2 at your end of the street).
The owner couldn't have been more helpful & easy to deal with. Prompt response to all correspondence, help with airport transfers & a faultless information pack.
Michelle owns 4 apartments in Antibes & I wouldn't hesitate to stay in any one of them. We take 3 holidays a year in France so I don't think it will be too long before we're back here. A great stay!!

It's great review and very much appreciated. It is so informative for future renters, addressing the important things, that the location is great but that the bars that are so fun to watch during the day and evening close at a the perfect time around 8pm
Perhaps you'll try another of the best 'people watching' properties next time, both the 1st floor Carousel and the Market apartment at the top of the Provencal Market have equally great balconies.
Great location, very nice, well-equipped apt.
Great location. Apt. looked exactly the way it looked on internet. Very nice, well-equipped, comfortable. Michelle made sure we knew how the washing machine, TV, telephone, radio worked and checked in on us to make sure we were fine. Two boulangeries within 20 meters. Freshly baked croissants every morning. We'll be back next year. Loved it.
Antibes is known for its yacht marina, the largest in Europe, with its International Quay, which is home to some of the biggest ’Megayachts’ in the World, its Provencal market, Picasso museum and medieval Ramparts. It has its own sheltered, sandy beach, and is within walking distance to several others. The Provencal fresh produce market runs every day in the summer and is not to be missed. In the evenings it turns into an outdoor restaurant scene, sharing the space with local artists’ stalls. Just behind the market is Antibes’s Cathedral, the setting for outdoor concerts in the summer months. The Old Town is full of lovely cobbled shopping streets, pavement cafes and countless restaurants to choose from. Thursdays is market day in the Old Town with thousands of stalls spread all over, selling anything from bikinis to carpets. On Saturdays, Place National is the setting for an Antiques market. Nearby Juan-les-Pins is a major holiday destination, with a casino & private beaches.
Golf: There are many fabulous golf courses in the area, all within a 30/40min drive of Antibes, including the Royal Mougins which is one of the best in France.
Ski: There are several ski fields within a short drive from Antibes, Auron and Isola 2000 being the most popular, and at only 90min drive away they are popular for a day trip.
