Holly Cottage is located at Thirley Cotes Farm, a grade two listed farm in the heart of the North York Moors conveniently situated near the village of Harwood Dale near the coast between Scarborough and Whitby. The farm dates back to the 1830's and is now a wonderful development of holiday properties set around a central courtyard, Holly Cottage is the smallest of the barn conversions yet very spacious, sleeping 2 people in a large Kingsize bedroom .
It has an upside down arrangement with the bedroom on the ground floor and open plan living accommodation upstairs. From March 2018 Holly will have the benefit of its own private hot tub with enclosed terrace which is perfect for a relaxing soak after enjoying the endless activities nearby .
Thirley Cotes farm offers a childrens play area with swings and slide for the youngsters under supervision. There is also an external games room and amenity field for football, cricket etc and a superb enhanting 4 acre woodland to explore .
Thirley Cotes has a commanding location offering unspoilt views of the nearby Broxa and Harwood dale forests, Dalby forest is close by packed with activities , walking, cycling , Go Ape and nature walks . The RSPB reserve at Bempton cliffs is also close by and the traditional seaside resorts of Whitby and Scarborough are easily accessible together with several beautiful fishing villages like Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes . Further inland, the options are the North York Moors villages like Goathland made famous by Aidensfield in the TV series Heartbeat or a little further inland to the medieval city of York.
