About Ann Doidge
I grew up in North London and now live near Croydon. I always had a yearning to travel to Cornwall. My paternal grandfather was born in Launceston and I first visited Bude with my parents in the 1970's. I worked for a Government Department in London for 37 years before retiring in 2014. Having spent many family holidays in Cornwall I longed to be able to buy a property there this was made possible with a legacy.
Ann Doidge purchased this Apartment in 2016
Why Ann Doidge chose Falmouth
After many happy family holidays on the North Coast of Cornwall our favourite places being Bude, Perranporth and Newquay we decided to visit the South Coast and stayed at Falmouth and Swanpool. Following two very enjoyable holidays at this property we bought it when it came on the market.

Great location 5 mins from the dock train station and a gentle 10 min walk to town. All the equipment and facilities we needed for our stay in the large and comfortable apartment. Falmouth has excellent facilities with many good restaurants, bars and shops and ferry services to local areas.
Would love to stay again
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay and we are glad you enjoyed your visit.
We hope to welcome you again some time in the future.
Beautiful well located apartment
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, comfortable apartment. It was much larger than I expected and was very well equipped. It was lovely that tea, coffee, milk and biscuits had been provided for when we arrived. The location was perfect for us being right opposite the docks where my husband's ship was moored. A ten minute walk takes you into town so you can leave your car parked safely outside the apartment in its designated spot. Highly recommended.
Thank you for your review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and everything was to your satisfaction. We hope to welcome you again in the future.
Great facilities and location. Comfortable, clean and well equipped.
Great location for town, beaches, bars and restaurants, walks and attractions. Blessed with the weather this year, but even in the rain and drizzle Falmouth is a lovely place to be. Have known this area for over 40 years, and return every year.
Thank you for your positive review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay at the apartment.
It is good to know you had fine weather and that our efforts to make the place special were appreciated.
With Falmouth Docks the Maritime Line railway station only a couple of hundred yards away and the Falmouth shuttle bus and coach stop close by, a car is unnecessary nonetheless; free off street parking is available for one vehicle. You can take the ferry to beautiful St Mawes for the day or enjoy a delightful trip around the estuary stopping off at either Trebah Gardens or the Smugglers Cottage for a cream tea. There are plenty of places to eat & drink in Falmouth Rick Stein's Fish & Chip Restaurant & Oyster Bar at Discovery Quay or a little further on our own favourite Harbour Lights Arwenack Street the award winning fish and chip restaurant. A visit to the nearby National Maritime Museum is a must.
