We love to interact with guests and tell about all of the must see Knoxville & surrounding area attractions. We have a friendly dog named Chance but he lives in the upstairs and never enters the Studio, this is a dog free area. The 4th & Gill Historic Overlay District boasts a unique variety of architectural styles and beautiful homes. Several homes in the neighborhood were designed by the notable Knoxville architects George F. Barber and Joseph Bauman. Flowers and foliage can be enjoyed spring, summer and fall, and early winter dons the neighborhood with Christmas decorations.
The area is equipped with sidewalks on which you can always find locals strolling the streets with pets, friends and children. Miles of hiking and biking space can be explored less than 5 miles down the street at Ijams Nature Center.
You can stock up on food and beverage less than a mile away at the local liquor store and Kroger grocery. There is a wonderful coffee shop, K Brew just a few blocks up the street and a bakery in the shops just up the hill. Several local breweries and restaurants are within walking/biking distance (if you like to walk or bike) or a short drive away.
We are just 3 miles away from Neyland Stadium and less than 2 to downtown Knoxville. You can hear the fireworks when UT scores a touchdown and see 4th of July fireworks from our house!
We have 2 bikes available for your convenience and if you need more just ask, we can most likely get enough for your party to use. Uber is a short ride to any of the downtown/university attractions, and if you like to hike, you can reach any of these destinations on foot. There are local bus and trolley lines to help with transportation as well, info provided with lodging.
