Villa Eleni is approached from the road that takes you to Egremni beach. As the grounds are sloping, a private road leads up to the villa’s main entrance. In the ground floor you can find the sitting room area, the kitchen with a dining table, a WC and a large extra room where the washing machine is. Outdoors, you can enjoy your private swimming pool with its Jacuzzi, relax at the sunbeds provided under the shade of sun umbrellas and forget it all by enjoying the seaviews, or just relax under the shade of a wooden kiosk. Alternatively, you could practice your cooking skills by preparing a BBQ and enjoy your meal gazing at the unique sunsets. The villa is conveniently enjoying total privacy and quiet, yet it is only 800m from Athani village and only 5 minsdrive from the best beaches of Lefkada, some of which are voted best of Greece.

We had a fantastic week lying by the pool all day, eating fish and greek salad, drinking Mythos. We are all brown and relaxed. This villa was the most perfect place to relax with the family, away from the August madness. Thank you.
We spent 10 comfortable days in Athani at the Villa Eleni. The location was like in the pictures not luxury but private, clean, good value for money with an amazing view to the sea, with very nice flowers and aromatic plants around the house and terrace (lavender, rosemary …). Imagine to have the dinner under the pavilion accompanied by the fragrance of the aromatically plants and looking over the sea at ones of the best sunset’s …. Well it’s like that at Eleni.
And if you decide to stay at the villa or just pass by the Athani village don’t forget to pass by Greco Levante tavern especially if is not full season. I was in many places but at Greco Levante we really enjoy the taste of the food.
We spent a really lovely week at the Villa Eleni in the village of Athani. The location was just right for us: serene and real private with an amazing view to the sea over the olive groves. The sunsets were some of the most beautiful ones we´ve ever experienced.
We spent our time at the pool, and we toured around the island by car. We will never forget the waterfalls and the trip to the scenic routes of the mountain range.
We got good service at the Greco Levantes tavern,as they were also able to tend to my special gluten-free diet.
The owner Anna and her husband made sure we enjoyed ourselves.
We heartily recommend Villa Eleni to everyone and maybe we´ll come back here ourselves.
The house is as the pictures shows, it is beautiful and has everything what you need. It has a spacious swimming pool with a jacuzzi. The view is superb looking over the sea. Under the gazebo you can eat with the great view. Every evening you will have the best sunset......at your own home. It is clean and the owner cleans it every three days. They always ask for the right time to do. We recommend this house to everybody it brings really value for money and more.....
Breathtaking and world-famous beaches, sandy, long, with turquoise waters are close by (Egremni within 2 kms, Gialos within 3 kms, Porto Katsiki within 8 kms). Porto Katsiki beach has been voted as one of the best beaches in Greece and even the Mediterranean!

Athani village, a short walk from the villas (just 800meters), is the closest village to the villas. There, you can find 2 mini- markets, restaurants, a café. The closest restaurant to the villas (5 mins walk), just before you reach Athani village is 'Greco Levante' restaurant. It is owned and operated by the villa owners. Its specialities are made by fresh, own produce as the family also has an animal farm and a vegetables garden (both can be visited if you would like so).
You can find all kinds of amenities such as bars, restaurants, ATM, medical centre, super market, all kind of water sports at the picturesque village of Vasiliki (15Kms), which is considered to be the capital of the south of the island. Its bay is well-known as a windsurfer's paradise. A visit to the southeast part of the island, the so called Doukato cape, is a must-visit. The legend says that the poet Sapfo fell from the steep cliffs as she was disappointed from her love.
