The flat was very clean and well equipped. The proximi to blackheath village and station is great!
A wonderful little flat with everything you are likely to need. A perfect place for my family of four with two small kids.
The owners were super helpful and always available to answer any questions.
With it being so close to the train station (5min walk) you have great access to a London which is only 4 stops away.
The proximity to the common is another plus as kids can run around and let off some steam as well as being a great place for the adults to run and work out.
The restaurants are very good to. I’d suggest a visit to The Ivy Cafe. Nice setting just off the common by the church and delicious food.
Thank you for your review Greg- I’m delighted that you enjoyed your stay so much. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back in the future!
The house is very confortable, and everything is organized to have a nice stay with family in this calm area of London

Perfect, couldn't be more so!
We had a wonderful stay at this flat in late November. Everything was so well organized, comfortable, and thought out. Claire is an amazing host and communicated so well that we were well prepared for our stay. She was incredibly helpful to us travelling with a toddler for the first time.
If you are not familiar with the area, it's a wonderful area of London to stay in. Right in the village of Blackheath, just minutes walk from Greenwich Park, and the River Thames. Access to so many transit options. The perfect mix of being near Central, while in a charming village setting. I wouldn't hesitate to book here. We'll be back!

As well as its closeness to the centre of London Blackheath is the perfect location for a break in itself. It is one of London’s traditional, urban villages in the heart of South East London. It has a great range of shops, a micro- brewery, delis, restaurants, pubs, bars, a Sunday farmers’ market and the cultural Blackheath Halls.
The other main attraction of Blackheath is ‘The Heath’. It plays a huge part in villagers’ everyday life for walking, playing sports and kite flying as well as hosting major events including an annual fireworks night, The OnBlackheath Festival and it is also where London Marathon starts! The heath is also a popular venue for meeting up with friends and family for summer picnics and evening walks.
Just a short stroll over the heath is the main entrance to Greenwich Park with its amazing views over the city and the the Royal Observatory (home to Greenwich Meantime). The Park is the perfect spot to take the family with its beautiful flower gardens, deer enclosure, bandstand and cricket pitch. Lower down in the park is a great children’s playground, including sand pit and boating lake, as well as the world famous National Maritime Museum.
The Markets of Greenwich are only a 20-minute stroll away and have a great selection of art, crafts, clothing and antiques for sale.
Literally around the corner from our property is ‘The Duckpond’. Spend time with the kids feeding the ducks followed by a glass of wine in the Princess of Wales pub, which overlooks the pond.
For retail therapy- if you don't fancy a trip into central London then Bluewater (free parking) is just 20-25 minutes in a car, south on the A2 road . It is home to a vast array of shops, restaurants and a cinema complex - the perfect place for Christmas shopping! Alternatively if you cross the Thames to East London then Westfield Stratford City is also close by.
Further afield, but a short car journey away, is Kent; often named the garden of England, with its wide array of National Trust properties and other famous castles and gardens. Just over an hour away is the coast of Kent which boasts the popular and trendy resort of Whitstable ( famous for its oyster festival ) as well as the picturesque resort of Broadstairs (with its classic sandy coved beach).
