This 1960's 3 bedroom bungalow, recently renovated in a contemporary style, has stunning views across Fishguard Bay from the front terrace, open plan living/dining room and bedrooms 1 and 3. The property sleeps 5 people in 3 bedrooms, which have one kingsize, one double and one single bed. It has a spacious bathroom with a large walk in shower and double-ended bath, as well as a separate toilet in the utility room. There is an enclosed rear garden, ample parking for 4 cars, a gas BBQ, sun loungers ,fully equipped kitchen and many extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The triple glazing, log burner, air source central heating and hot water, and whole house ventilation system make it a comfortable place to stay at any time of year. It is 2 minutes walk from the Coastal Path, 10 minutes walk to the beach, train station or Sea Ferry to Rosslare, Ireland. Set on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park you have easy access to the beautiful beaches of Pembrokeshire including Whitesands and Newgale, Britain's smallest city - St. Davids, plus many other great places to visit.

About Sue and Gary Busby

We have been successfully renting out Ranelagh, a 3 bedroom mid-century house next door, as a holiday home for 3 years so decided to take early retirement in March 2016 in order to renovate Colliston. Eventually we will retire to one of the properties but in the meantime we intend to travel in our motorhome, when both houses are rented out. We have had a variety of careers (including running a flooring business and looking after a country estate) and have lived abroad (Sue in Ireland and Switzerland and Gary in Mexico) but feel most at home in beautiful North Pembrokeshire. Eventually we would like to find time to slow down, enjoy our surroundings and make things!

                                                            We spent a lovely fortnight here. Snowing when we arrived, which is pretty unusual , but the wood burner worked very well.

                                                            We had a slight issue with the amount of hot water for the showers, but Gary and Sue were very attentive and came round to sort out the problem quickly. After that, everything was fine.

                                                            There is lots of information about the local area and the house is comfortable and welcoming.

                                                            This property has been beautifully designed, and equipped with everything the visitor could possibly want or need. The views out over the sea must be fantastic all year round - in the middle of winter it was especially dramatic. The rooms were very comfortable, and the wood-burning stove extremely cosy!

                                                            Everything that can be said about this bungalow has already been said. It is so well planned out and designed, it is a delight to stay in and very warm. Everything you need is supplied including essentials like dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, sugar, toilets rolls etc.

                                                            We have been so impressed with the vi spring mattress in the main bedroom that we have been shopping for one today. We had 10 hours sleeps most nights it is soooo comfortable.

                                                            The bungalow has lovely views overs the bay and a telescope is supplied to view the ever changing landscape.

                                                            There is lots to do in the area, we saw lots of castles including Carew (which was lovely) we visited Tenby and walked on the beach then walked up to the Prince Albert Monument with lovely views. Strumble Head lighthouse was beautiful with spectacular coastline.

                                                            the bungalow is very comfortable, had everything we needed plus a wonderful view. It was also very light airy and warm which makes a lot of difference to us. Sue & Gary were very helpful & it was easy to access other areas north and south. We really enjoyed it.

                                                            This bungalow has had no expense spared in modernizing it just recently. It is in a lovely location with distant views of the sea and fishguard. The weather was not so good so were unable to take advantage of the sitting out area at the front of the Bungalow which has the advantage of the sea views. I am sure we would have got out more, but the winds that week were horrible.

                                                            There is a lovely back garden as well that is not shown in the advertising, and the inside is decorated tastefully and up to date, sue has a good eye for design.

                                                            We couldn't fault the kitchen and its contents and beds were very comfortable. We live only a few miles away in Saundersfoot, and llandeilo in Carmarthenshire, and due to our physical health issues do not travel far, but we could have been far far away.

Pwll Gwaelod 3 miles by car. Newport sands with sand dunes, rock pools and Golf Course is 6 miles by car. Travel: Cardiff Airport 2 1/2 hours by car. Goodwick train station 10 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car. Stena Ferry Port 5 minutes by car. Car is not essential. Local buses and shuttle bus run frequently. Distances: Goodwick village is 10 minutes walk from the property . Fishguard is 20 minutes walking or 5 minutes in the car. Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is 5 minutes walk from the property. There are castles, woollen mills, boat trips to offshore islands, where the Atlantic grey seal is regularly sighted, dolphin watches at Strumble Lighthouse and Puffins at Skomer. Further Details: There are shopping facilities in Goodwick and Fishguard, with Tesco and Co-operative delivery services available. The Famous 100 foot tapestry of the last invasion of Britain by the French is located in the Library. Local produce markets in Fishguard on Saturdays and Thursdays. Bank, post office, pubs, restaurants, fish and chips. Indian, kebab and pizza delivery service from Fishguard. Leisure centre, Swimming Pool, Theatre/Cinema.
