About Emma Cordingley
My name is Emma. I am the rental agent for Borgo Ospicchio. My family has been renting houses since the 1990s starting with parents' own house and then their neighbours', from that it grew into a small rental agency. I moved to the area with my husband and daughters in 1999. We now rent about 25 properties all within easy reach of our own house so that we can always be on hand if there is a problem.
Why Emma Cordingley chose Umbertide
The deep sense of peace and quiet around Borgo Ospicchio makes it a very attractive property. There are no roads or noisy neighbours to interrupt the natural sounds of the countryside. The views are quite stunning. The houses have been delightfully restored and furnished and offer a high degree of comfort. The grounds are very attractive and well cared for too.
What makes this Villa unique
Great for 2 families sharing or a large group. Large terrace makes an excellent socialising space. Complete peace and quiet. Children's playground equipment. Large pool/snooker table and darts board. Incredible views. Beautiful resin pool.

An oasis of peace
Such a beautiful place. We had a real good time with a party of 10 staying over New Year, the pool table is a real asset. Both houses are really sweet and comfortable. We look forward to coming back in the summer and using the pool.
Beautiful houses and pool.
Beautiful, secluded houses & grounds and a great pool. The property is within easy reach of some wonderful cities. Comprised of two separate houses joined by a huge courtyard (lots of outside lighting allowing us to eat outside in the evening.) We stayed in one house and my parents in law in the other...ideal to have had that bit of extra privacy. We did an easy day trip to an organic vineyard in Montepulciano for tour in morning then lunch (Salcheto) and stopped in Siena in the afternoon. Enjoyed the undiscovered Citta di Castello also, which was even closer to home. My father in law and I squeezed in an afternoon round of gold at Antognolla pay & play also the day before leaving, 10 minutes from the house only. A very special part of the world. Highly recommended.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay at Borgo Ospicchio. Emma
We had a great time at Borgo Ospicchio. It's in such a beautiful location and the kids spent hours and hours in the pool. The pool table also had a lot of use and the disco lights :) BBQ's in the evening were such a pleasure in that setting. Enjoyed some amazing trips from there too - Rome, Perugia, Assisi and Lake Trasimeno. We take away some fabulous memories!
An absolute gem.
Both houses are really delightful and differently styled. The large terrace area provided plenty of shady space for games and meals. Stunning countryside and a lovely pool area. I would highly recommend for 2 or 3 families or for groups of friends. Do note that everything is a drive - there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance.
Tranquil and beautiful scenery lovely houses
Borgo Ospicchio is quite remote, 15 minutes into the nearest town but because of that you are immersed in the most beautiful and quiet countryside with just the sounds of birds and crickets. Exquisite place, highly recommended.
Fabulous place for 2 families or a large group
Both properties very modern and clean, everything worked well. The countryside around is very beautiful with views in every direction. The pool area is delightful and there is an enormous paved terrace between the villas always with some shade. We had a very good time staying there.
