About the property

Tug's Barn is a delightful, self-catering, first floor, barn conversion (2012) accessed by exterior granite steps. It sits beside our pretty Victorian house, and near the Apple Loft (also listed with HomeAway ), in four acres of gardens and orchards in the award winning and friendly village of Grampound. The beautiful Roseland Peninsula, with miles of coastal footpaths, is on our doorstep and we are very conveniently located to explore Cornwall's Great Gardens. The front door opens into a WIFI enabled sitting room with comfortable chairs, TV, DVD and radio. There is a well equipped kitchen area, with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, a large hallway and a separate dining room. The bedroom has a Queen sized bed (5') and is adjacent to the spacious shower room. The Dolphin Inn public house is 400 metres away, The Cornish Smoke House 300 metres, Grampound Community Store (a grocery, newsagent and coffee shop) 500 metres and the Eastern Promise Cantonese Restaurant is also 500 metres away. The county town of Truro is some 8 miles, Heligan Gardens about 4 miles and the Eden Project about 10miles. Private parking, gas, electricity, GFCH, HW, WIFI, bedding and towels are all included in the price. Check in from 4.00pm, check out by 10 am please to allow ample time for housekeeping and maintenance

They are the 5 Eastern-most houses in Grampound to the North of Fore Street. Once you have arrived at TR2 4QX, turn your Sat Nav off. Look on the North side of Fore Street for 'HILLSIDE', a house set well back behind Yew hedges, Pine, Oak, Yew, Beech, Drimys, Embothrium and Conker trees. The property has double white wooden gates, a gravel drive, a sign 'HILLSIDE' on one granite and brick gatepost and a black post box on the other brick and granite gatepost labeled 'GOULD'. Please drive in and park where convenient.
