The Beehive is a modern home built within the grounds of Butterbee House. The open plan living area includes a double height spacious lounge / dining area and a newly fitted kitchen. Outside you will have access to a large shared garden and patio area with lots of seats, outstanding views over Bodmin Moor, a barbecue and fire pit. Can be booked with The Chrysalis (sleep 4 - next door) to give a maximum capacity of 12.
Callington is a great location at the eastern edge of Bodmin Moor, the Tamar Valley is beautiful and picturesque with plenty of quiet country pubs, stunning walks and secluded streams and valleys. St Mellion golf course is within a few miles and Plymouth within a 30 minute drive. Both coasts can be reached relatively quickly where you can spend a day viewing the stunning North coast beaches, cliffs and headlands or the quaint, traditional fishing villages of the south coast.
Ground Floor: Open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with comfortable sofas (including 1 x sofabed) and double height ceilings, one double / twin bedroom with zip and link beds , downstairs shower room and WC. Stairs leading to:
First Floor: Opens onto small landing with doors leading to master double / twin zip and link bedroom with views across the moors. Second twin bedroom. Family bathroom with hand basin and WC.
Exterior: Parking for 2 cars out the front, more available on request with the owners, patio seating area with garden furniture, fire pit and barbecue facilities. Large shared garden.
Facilities & Services
The Beehive has gas central heating. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with an electric oven & hob, kettle, toaster, fridge and separate freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a washing machine/dryer. The lounge area has a flat screen, 3D smart digital TV with integrated DVD player, CD & Radio. There is an iron and ironing board available. The property has WiFi.
Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included however you will need to bring your own beach towels. Two dogs are welcome to stay at The Beehive at the small additional charge of £25 per dog per week. Dogs may not be left unattended in the property at any time. There is a cot and high chair.
