The cleaning fee is only charged for minimum bookings of 5 nights in May, September and October.
For reservations of 7 nights, the cleaning fee is returned on the spot on the day of check out.
Ferreiras is a small village 5 km north of Albufeira and is ideal for those who wish to live within the Portuguese community, but at the same time, within easy reach of Albufeira Centre. Ferreiras train station in 5min walk, perfect to discover Algarve by train.
The Old Town and ´The Strip` are approx. 5 minutes by car, local taxi (cheap) or by the Giro (City Bus). Local shops, restaurants (much cheaper eating locally), bars, cafés, large supermarket, local butchers, bakeries, local Regional (daily) and Municipal Markets (twice monthly), banks, chemist, filling station, children’s park etc. are all within easy walking distance of the apartment.
This up and coming suburb of Albufeira is now becoming a favourite for foreigners who wish to reside or buy a second home abroad, as well as the Portuguese themselves who want to live away from the hustle & bustle of Albufeira Centre. The whole village has a great feel to it and the apartment is centrally located to explore, by car or by train, the whole of Algarve from the Spanish/Portuguese border (Vile Real San Antonio) to Cape St. Vincent (the most south westerly point in Europe). The Albufeira train station, which is actually located in Ferreiras, is within 15 minutes walk of the apartment. You can also take the Alfa High Speed train to the city of Lisboin (takes approx. 2 1/2 hours). You can actually take the early morning train and return the same evening.
The property is situated very close to the connections for the N125 (national road) and the A22 (the motorway that runs from the Spanish/Portuguese border in the east to Lagos in the west). There are 3 Golf Courses in Albufeira and 6 in nearby Vilamoura, which boasts its famous cosmopolitan Marina.
Zoomarine Oceanic Park, Algarve Shopping with its large Hypermarket, many Line Shops,and large Food Court + Retail Park (with the famous Iceland for all your home products) are all within 10 minutes drive from the apartment. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve are within 5 - 10 minutes drive, including the famous Sao Rafael which has been voted as one of the top 5 in Europe.
Fresh towels and linen are provided for your arrival and will be changed weekly, for 14 nights stay. Transfers with a fully licenced English speaking driver can be arranged on request. We can also oorganise Car Hire for you with a company who do all inclusive pricing - please note that car hire is not essential but useful, even for a few days, to explore some of the beautiful places in Algarve.
