This apartment is newly listed, that's why we have only few reviews yet, however my wife an i are experienced hosts. This new apartment is close to Széchenyi Lánchíd, St. Stephen Basilica, Opera, Christmas market, Hotel Kempinski, Hotel Ritz Carlton . You’ll love my place because of location, two bathroom, two bedroom, high standard, amenities, comfort. My place is good for two couples, business travelers, and families (with kids).

About Attila and Marta
We love to travel and discover new places, food and culture, meet new people. We also love to host people at our apartment as we really want to provide extra experiences for those who wants to enjoy Hungary/Budapest, the beautiful sights, fine restaurants, wines and local specialities.
Why Attila and Marta chose Lipótváros
Our property was renovated last year with high quality materials. It's a building with less than 15 flats, it's a very quiet building in the most heart of the city. Our neighbors are very nice people, you can get some experience with locals by staying here. You don't need to use public transportation, you can discover all the famous sights on foot, everything is in walking distance. Metro and bus stations grocery stores are in 2 minutes walking distance.

A great place to stay in Budapest.
The place was perfect. It was clean and spacious. It had everything we needed. It was in a great location. Close to a grocery store and close to lots of good restaurants and bars. Right in the middle of all the action. Within walking distance to the Parliament and other must see sights. The stairs could be a problem for some. We considered it exercise and planned our ups and downs accordingly. We would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to this beautiful and interesting city.
Quality apartment in Budapest
My family all enjoyed our stay at this quality apartment. If you are visiting Budapest you could not go wrong staying here. The apartment has all the amenities you could possibly need and the host, Attilla, was easily accessible with any questions you may have. The Metro, buses and trams are just a stones throw away with a good reasonably priced mini-market about one minute away. Although the apartment is in a vibrant area with restaurants and music you really are not disturbed at night at all because it is in an inner courtyard. You are only be a fifteen minute walk away from the parliament building (which is well worth a visit) and other famous sights are nearby.
The apartment is at the top of the building and is only accessible by stairs and therefore might not be for you if you have trouble with a few flights of stairs at the end of a busy days sightseeing. I really cannot recommend this apartment enough. if you are coming to beautiful Budapest stay here.
We would stay here when we visit Budapest again.
Great apartment, close to everything. We were able to walk almost everywhere. We did take the very efficient metro system back from Heros' Square (we walked going) and to the Keleti train station when we departed.
The ease of getting a taxi at the airport when we arrived was great and the cost to get to the apartment was reasonable.
A ride on the huge ferriss wheel near the apartment is worth the cost.
Location, location, location.Quiet, spacious and modern.
3 metro lines are 2 minutes away, the bus to the airport is 2 minutes away, bike hire is 2 minutes away, "big bus" is 2 minutes away and a good sized mini market is 30 seconds away. Everything is close.
Add to that air conditioning in a modern, recently renovated property and it being very quiet despite being right where the action is and it ticks an awful lot of boxes. Admittedly the windows face into the inner courtyard but I think that is a good thing.
Ryan Air did us the disservice of arriving 12 hours late via the Czech Republic and Attila was completely flexible about when we arrived ensuring he was there to greet us.
I went with my 21 year old son but the apartment can easily accommodate 2 couples and more.
I am recommending this apartment to my friends and will probably come back myself.
Great Location, Immaculate Apartment
This is a lovely modern apartment, with everything needed to ensure a great stay. Attila was extremely helpful, he met us on our arrival and showed us around and how various appliances worked. He checked during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is in a great location, a 10 minute walk from the Chain Bridge, 5 minutes from the Basilica. The Number 16 bus stop is a 2 minute walk away , and this will take you to Buda, and the stop there is a minute from the Fisherman's Bastion. There are lots of great restaurants around several just a 5 minute walk from the apartment - Aszu in particular is really good. Cyrano's just off Vaca Street, again a 10 minute walk away is excellent both for breakfast and for dinner. Try Gerbeau in Vorosmarty Square - expensive, but worth going for a wonderful coffee and cake and a great experience.
The apartment is on the third floor of a tall building and no lift. If you have mobility issues or are elderly it would not be suitable. Having said that, we are in our 70's (my husband just three years off 80) and we saw it as an opportunity to burn calories after eating lovely food at great restaurants!!
The only other issue regarding the apartment is that it has a very creaky floor. During the day this is not a problem, however, if like us you have to get up in the night for the bathroom then you are likely to disturb others in the apartment - it really is noisy.
The apartment itself is situated around an inner courtyard and so is very quiet despite being in the centre of everything - except for the creaky floor!!
I have given this 5 stars because it is really worth it, after all, the creaky floor at night was our problem and might not be yours.
Perfect in every way!
We stayed at Attila and Marta's apartment for nine days and it was absolutely perfect! They were gracious and generous hosts, responded to every question we had within 24 hours and arranged for us to hire their nephew, Barny, to pick us up from the airport, which was extremely helpful after a long trip.
The apartment is on Erzsébet téri park where the famous Budapest Eye Ferris Wheel is located. It's a lovely park and we loved walking through it every time we left and came back to the apartment. There are stands with food and a great music venue (Akvárium Klub/National Ditch) that has concerts on the weekends. There is a grocery store right across the street where you can buy almost anything you need including fresh bakery every day and a Vodaphone store is within a block if you need to pick up a Sim card. There are tons of restaurants, squares, shops, and bars in the area, but again, the apartment is perfectly quiet and separated from any noise. (There are no bars right by the apartment, so you don't have people partying all around you at night.) The apartment faces a lovely inner courtyard which keeps this apartment perfectly quiet at night even though it is in a bustling area of the city. You are right at the Deak Ferenc metro stop and major bus stops so can get anywhere in the city easily and quickly.
The apartment itself has large windows, high ceilings, lovely furnishings, and is spotlessly clean. Wifi worked great and we brought a cable to connect our computer to the TV so we could watch Netflix at night when we were worn out. It comes furnished with lots of kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, luxurious towels, comfy beds with awesome pillows, and even laundry detergent. We didn't need to buy anything except our food.
The apartment is on the fourth floor (top) of a walk-up, so you do need some stamina for climbing stairs, but we felt it was a plus to keep us in good shape while we were there. There is honestly nothing I can say that is a negative about this rental. It was a perfect home away from home for our visit. I would choose this neighborhood and this apartment again if we are able to return. Thanks so much, Atilla and Marta!
