53 mins from London, 5 mins from the sea! Ideal as a weekend retreat or for business. Our cool pad is brand spanking new with all you need for a completely comfortable stay. Centrally located in Folkestone's West End and 10 mins walk to the trains.

The space

Part of a brand new development in Folkestone's West End. Close to The Leas (the famous promenade). The flat sleeps upto 4 (1 double bedroom and 1 large sofa bed in the living room). All mod cons available, solid oak floors, French doors to private patio garden, access to landscaped communal garden.

You have the whole flat at your disposal. There is TV/Freeview and wifi, private patio garden and communal landscaped garden to use.

I'll keep my interaction with you to a minimum. I'm either up in London or nearby in Deal. I'm always available by phone or email if you have any questions. Basically you've the place to yourself.

The West End is a smart Regency neighbourhood of up and coming Folkestone. It really is a 5 minute walk to the sea front, a 10 minute to the train station and then 55 minutes to London. There's so much to do from beach combing, long walks, pub lunches, fine dining or hanging out in cool independent coffee shops drinking proper coffee. One of the best seafood restaurants in the UK, Rocksalt, is down on the old harbour - make sure you get a sea view table. Or if you prefer less salubrious eateries then there's the Smokehouse for fish and chips.

Walk, walk, walk. Or, why not bring your bikes down and cycle the many coastal and inland routes. If you're coming down from London make sure you try the HS1 train line. If you want to discover the surrounding environs then you'll need a car.

Are you coming for the Triennial Festival? Or, are you visiting to learn more about the Great War? Folkestone was the departure point for the British, Commonwealth and Allied troops setting off to liberate Europe. Let me know if you need any information or recommendations.

The neighbourhood - It's quiet and so close to The Leas and the seaside.

Getting around - There is a bus stop near by. The train station (Folkestone Central) is a 10 minute walk. Otherwise it's perfect for walking.
