About Adam Erickson
We are a family of 4 that loves lake life! We purchased the home in 2013 and use it when not on VRBO. I grew up in this area and absolutely love it! The scenery, the SMELL of the fresh air, the stars are intensely bright at night, the crackle of the fire and just talking, these are the things I grew up doing and still love them, but now I get to do it with my family.
Adam Erickson purchased this House in 2013
Why Adam Erickson chose Nashwauk
If your looking for privacy and views of sunrises on the dock and sunsets from the fire on the other side of peninsula, it has a little bit of everything. Lake is quiet and clear for great swimming, pontooning and fishing. What made us fall in love? Grab a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise, its amazing! Then we fill our days with tons of activities, and at night its usually put something on the grill and have dinner outside by the fire overlooking the lake. It's the little things that add up to a great day!
What makes this House unique
Lake views in all directions and great people that live on the lake along with the Buck Lake Community Center that includes a beach area and softball field. Love picking berries? There's tons of hidden spots to fill your bucket (or jump in the kayak and pick along the sandy shore). Love 4 wheeling? Hit a trail nearby and go for hours. Fishing? Boating? Get on the lake and enjoy. Walk the point and lay in the hammock with the breeze from the lake....and just fall asleep in total relaxation. Get in the car and hit the scenic highway by Grand Rapids. There's so much to do. Or just relax (we're really good at that too!)

Nice relaxing week
The property is very private, hidden from the road and on a lake. A little over 10 minutes from Nashwauk, 20-25 from Hibbing and 30 minutes from Grand Rapids so ammenities not too far away. Easy drives to the multiple forests, waterfalls, Duluth, hockey hall of fame, etc.
Property itself is very nice. Eveeyrhing ypu need for time away from it all. DirecTv in bedroom, living room and enclosed porch. Charcoal and gas grill available and fire pit. There is no wifi and cell signal is poor at best, so if you want to truly get away then this is it.
There was an issue with the water on a Sunday evening and Adam had a plumber there on Monday morning. He communicated very well before and during our stay. I would stay again.
Beautiful home enjoyed both the home and the lake! All questions were answered quickly. Can't wait to stay there again!
Relax and reconnect with loved ones and nature.
This home provided a relaxing reconnection for our 3 generation family of 7.
On arrival we felt like guests in Adam's home. Its tasteful decor and amenities were appreciated as soon as we came through the door. He respectfully checked in with us to see that we were comfortable.
While here we took advantage of the spacious kitchen and dining room to prepare and eat most of our meals. We spent a fair share of our time lounging in the screened in porch where we read, watched tv, ate dessert, and talked for hours. The dock was well used during our stay. My young daughters perfected their jumps off the end, we launched our fishing boat, kayaks and stand-up-paddle board here, we used the owners kayaks and paddle boat. There were mugs of coffee in the morning and adult beverages in the evening enjoyed on this dock.
If you have the opportunity, take in an awe inspiring piece of American history - make the 1hr 15min trip to the Soudan Underground MIne. The crew who lead the tour was pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable.
We took the advice of the kindest neighbors (with the sweetest dog) and headed over to The Bimbo's Octagon for supper - a casual, locally loved restaurant with tremendous garlic butter chicken wings and pizza.
Thank you Adam for allowing my family this pleasurable stay.
Million Dollar View
My family and I stayed here for a week and loved it! This has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We are originally from the area and came back for a funeral. This place allowed everyone to stay at one place and for some very much needed quiet time. It is very spacious and I would love to stay again. We had relatives over for cookouts and never felt cramped. The house is very well stocked can't think of one thing we needed that wasn't already in the house. Just come and have a great time.
Very nice house with lots of space, the kids really enjoyed the screened in porch that covers the back and side of the house. The dock is protected by the peninsula so the water was like glass, it made it easy to paddle boat and Kayak. The bass fishing was very good. We had a great relaxing and fun week.
Seclusion with all the comforts of home
Our family had an amazing time at the peninsula. From coffee on the dock, to swimming, kayaking, fishing (caught a big bass right off the dock too), family dinners, and fires on the screened in porch was fabulous! The Cabin fit our extended family of 8 with plenty of room. We hope to visit again!
Full use of paddle boat and kayaks onsite.
