Why Patricia L. Nardone chose Woodstock
I've been living in Portland since 1998. I purchased the property I live in and rent in 2000. In 2015, I decided to take advantage of the City of Portland's offer to reduce permit fees so that owners could build additional living structures on their property. The purpose was to "densify urban living space. Construction was completed in spring of 2016. I tore down my old 1930's garage to build a cottage adjacent to my corner lot home.
What makes this Cottage unique
I love living in Southeast Portland. I'm close to everything and my neighborhood is full of people of all ages, including young families, working adults and retirees. I am within walking distance to Woodstock village, Reed College Canyon and a lovely new yoga studio I frequent.

Patricia was very accommodating. The cottage is so cute and convenient to the Woodstock area!
Patricia's cottage was perfect for my husband and I and our 13 year old. Very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed for our three night stay. Great neighborhood near the property for groceries, ice cream, craft beer and food. Highly recommended!
Great place to stay in the Portland area
The cottage was just the right amount of room for our family of four on our short trip to the Portland area. The location was great -- close proximity to a coffee shop, restaurant and even a church. The loft worked really well for the boys. The only minor issue I had was with the condition of the floor. We followed the rules and left our shoes outside (as we do in our own home too). Our socks or bare feet became dusty and dirty as soon as we walked in, all the way to the bedroom. A quick use of a Swiffer would've done the trick but I couldn't find one. A clean floor would've made for a perfect visit.
Hi Joanna, thank you for the detailed feedback on your recent stay in the cottage here in Portland Oregon. I will work closely with our cleaning team to make sure that the floors are well cleaned in between guests. Thank you for following the “no shoes in the cottage” guidelines. Some of our guests do not follow this these guidelines for personal reasons. This may contribute to the amount of soil that accumulates on the floors. In any case, now that I know this, I will change our cleaning plan. I wish you all the best in your future travels.
We were pleased with most aspects of this 'tiny home'. It is very clean and well appointed. The stairs are not suitable for older people and the staircase in front of the bedroom door is problematic. The check out cleaning requirements seem a little excessive given the high cleaning fee.
Dear Dolly, Thank you for your review and your feedback. The steps are challenging for children under 7 years and older adults with limited mobility. I understand that they are awkward for some guests, too. I will review the cleaning procedures and consider changing them. I welcome specific items that you would like removed. I am continuously looking at ways to improve services and appreciate your recommendations.
We enjoyed our stay at this very clean and conveniently located cottage.
