About the property

Superb 3 bedroom apartment sleeping 6 in air conditioned apartment

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a delightful 50’s bourgeois building in the heart of Cannes Carre d'Or just behind the Majestic Hotel, a stones throw from the Palais de Festivals & sleeps six people in 3 bedrooms.

The beautifully proportioned high ceilinged living room is wonderfully light & airy due to the full height windows that flood the room with light. There is ample seating in the sitting room & a dining area for 6.

The 3 bedrooms are all of a good size. The particularly large master bedroom has an emperor bed or alternatively can be set up as two singles. The other two rooms both have super king beds which can be made up as two single beds. Both bedrooms have access to the rear north facing balcony. Bedroom 2 has an en-suite loo (WC).

All the rooms feature Hypnos beds, the most comfortable beds in the world. There is one goose down and one duck down pillow for each guest. All the bedrooms have radio alarm iPod docking stations or Sonos speaker.

The sitting room, bedrooms and hallway have been completely re-decorated in the autumn of 2011 painted in a palette of Farrow and Ball paints and the floor replaced with a beautiful solid smoked oak floor.

A new sound system including a Sonos system has been installed with Sonos zones in the sitting room, bedroom 1 and kitchen and a 46' Samsung LED television with Sky Freesat channels.

I was born and raised in the UK but have spent half my love between Meribel and the UK as I have run a Luxury Ski Chalet business there for the past 27 years.

Why Michael Broom Smith chose Centre Ville

We have been coming to Cannes on and off for almost 30 years and probably once or twice a year for each of the past dozen years and it has long been our dream to own an apartment in Cannes. In December 2010 we finally achieved that dream when we purchased 15 rue Notre Dame.

We could not believe our luck when we found, what was for us, our ideal apartment with its lovely lofty ceilings, full height windows and the wonderful location just behind the Majestic hotel where we have stayed many times.

Since purchasing it we have greatly improved the apartment, decorating through out, replacing floors and in the winter of 2013 replacing the kitchen and the final part of the project was completed in January 2014 when we refurbish the bathrooms.

As well as being available to rent through out the year, it will be our home from home when we come to stay. With this in mind we believe you will find this to be one of the most comfortable, welcoming and beautifully appointed and equipped apartments available to rent in the Carre d'Or.

Notes:
The apartment as well as being available to rent all the year around, is our home from home when we are in Cannes, which is for eight to ten weeks a year and so we have equipped as such. In addition we have been in the luxury end of the hospitality business for 20 years so we like to think we know what clients want when they come to stay. This is why you will find the apartment equipped with everything you need from plenty of coat hangers, a Nespresso machine, an orange juicer, SKY TV (free to air channels), Sonos sound system, iPod docking stations and a very well equipped kitchen.

Super delux apartement

Very nice apt with everything you wish for, comfy beds, modern stylish decoration, kitchen with lots of machines and dryer washmachine, tv/sound system with a lot of channels, long balcony in the back, perfect for your luggage, nice location close to the Croisette, warm and well insulated from cold and noice. Warmly recomended.

Great apartment in the centre of Cannes

The apartment is spacious, comfortable, very clean and well maintained. Situated on the 2nd floor it is full of light, and at the back overlooks gardens so pretty quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom and shower room modern. The position in the centre of Cannes, makes it a great place to stay: a few minutes walk to La Croisette, beaches, restaurants and shops (great for the baguette in the morning). The old harbour, cobbled streets of Le Suquet and ferry to the islands of Lerins are also within easy reach. The owner was very friendly and easy to contact. We won't hesitate to come back

Best Apartment in Cannes

This was my second time staying at this apartment, and it was fantastic. Very quick walk to my job at the Palais, clean, comfortable, stylish. Love the Sonos system and Apple TV too!

I have stayed at over 10 different rental apartments all over Cannes, and this is by far my favorite. Highly recommend.

Perfect location, clean, well ventilated, great kitchen with all the stuff, beautiful

My husband, son and I spent a week at the apartment and it was fantastic. The location was unbelievable! At any time day or night we could walk out the front door and be in the heart of Cannes. Markets were close by so food shopping was a breeze and the kitchen was well stocked with everything that I needed to make family dinners. The owners were exceptionally well organized and professional. Each bedroom was clean and stylish with plenty of room to unpack and move around. The beds were very comfortable and there were curtains to block the morning light so we slept late every day.To sum it up........ Beach with paddle boarding and great cocktails, stellar people watching, world class shopping, beautiful apartment and lots of rest. All good!

Modern, quiet and central

The apartment appears as nice as it look on pictures. Very close to the beach, restaurants and the main shopping street Rue du Antibes. The communication with the landlord was very swift and efficient.

Excellent location, fantastic apartment

Had an amazing two week stay for our first experience of Cannes. The apartment was lovely, fully modernised with much needed air conditioning and couldn't be in a better central location for the restaurants or shops, both of which are literally around the corner. We loved breakfast at Lenotre and fully recommend Le Mantel for dinner. Loved the apartment, location, food and especially the weather.

Our apartment is situated in the heart of the Carre d'Or of the exciting city of Cannes on the rue Notre Dame just behind the Majestic Hotel and a stone's throw from the Palais de Festival, the Croisette, the wonderful shopping of the Rue d'Antibes and the surrounding streets.

This makes it ideally situated for both visitors attending one of the many congresses held in Cannes each year including the world famous Cannes Film Festival, or for families coming to Cannes on holiday to take advantage of the wonderful weather, beaches, restaurants, bars and shopping that Cannes and the Cote d'Azur has to offer.
