This apartment is situated on a great location, combining modern apartment life with plenty of outdoor spaces for relaxing and dining in the warm Mediterranean climate. The center of the pretty town of Tavira is just a 10 min walk away. The apartment has every modern convenience and has been tastefully furnished to an extremely high standard with careful attention to make a home from home for visitors to enjoy. The swimming pool with separate pool for toddlers is only 60 m away from the apartment.

The apartment consists of two double bedrooms both with built in wardrobes; one with twin beds and the other with a king size double bed. There's a modern bathroom with bath/shower and a large south facing sitting room with sofa-bed, couch and dining area with access to a terrace with beautiful sea-views.

Train and bus services are close by and easy access to the EN125 and then the motorway for exploring by car.

Wireless Internet available, flat screen LCD TV (Satellite) and DVD/CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, gas cooking, electric oven, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and fridge/freezer. Adjacent to the kitchen is a terrace with fitted BBQ. Air conditioning for heating and cooling throughout the apartment. In addition, the apartment has a private roof terrace with sea view. We zijn eind oktober 2011 een week in dit appartement geweest. Een week met elke dag prachtig weer met temperaturen tot 26 graden. Zoals al opgemerkt door andere reviewer troffen we een heel mooi gelegen luxe appartement aan op de tweede (hoogste) verdieping van een kleinschalig appartementencomplex. Het is vrijwel nieuw, gezellig modern ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien tot zelfs satelliet TV, airco en wifi toe. Het heeft vier balkons en een dakterras, dus altijd wel een plek waar zon is. 's ochtends ontbijten op balcon in de zon met zeezicht, wat wil je nog meer. Het appartementencomplex ligt aan de rand van Tevira n een rustige buurt. Twee supermarkten zijn op enkele minuten lopen. In de directe omgeving is treinstation en busstation op 10 minuten lopen. Het is dus eenvoudig om van het vliegveld in Faro dit complex te bereiken. Maar ook met de bus naar Sevilla (aanrader)voor een paar dagen behoort tot de mogelijkheden. Met 10 minuten lopen ben je in het gezellige centrum met zijn vele terrasjes, eetgelegenheden en leuke karakteristieke oude Portugeese huisjes. Er zijn meerdere mooie stranden waarvan 1 op loopafstand. Ook een goede uitvalsbasis voor fietstochten. Een lange afstandsfietspad (gedeeltelijk halfverhard) loopt vlak langs het appartement en gaat door uitgestrekte natuurgebieden, langs citrusplantages en zoutpannen, restanten van oude forten en leuke havenstadjes tot aan de Spaanse grens toe of naar de andere kant richting Atlantische kust. Vogels waaronder flamingo's in overvloed. Goede fietsen zijn in Tavira te huur o.a. bij de fietsenmaker aan de haven. Kortom een heel fijne vakantie gehad in topappartement en leuke omgeving. Lovely Apartment

Really nice apartment just on the edge of the town. Very well appointed with Wifi, TV, Air Con and DVD player. More spacious inside than it looks on the photos with plenty of outdoor balconies and private roof terrace.

We had a very good time in Tavira and would recommend it. The accommodation is very modern and the lift was a bonus with heavy cases.

Two supermakets nearby and the town itself has plenty to do. The apartment was very clean and in good condition when we arrived. It's very modern inside and lots of room. It's also far enough out of the centre to be quiet at night.

Set on either side of the meandering Rio Gilão, Tavira is a charming town that makes good use of its pretty river setting. The ruins of a hilltop castle, an old Roman bridge and a smattering of Gothic and Renaissance churches are among the attractions, and its enticing assortment of restaurants and guest houses can make it difficult to leave.

Tavira is ideal for strolling: its warren of cobblestone streets, hide shady plazas and patisseries, and despite the growing number of tourists, there’s still a small, active fishing port. The town lies 3km from the coast, near the beautiful and unspoilt beaches of Ilha de Tavira.

The development is situated in the upper part of town, a 10 minute walk from the Roman Bridge and has beautiful views over the lower parts of town and the ocean beyond.
