The Wagon

Stylishly converted to a high standard from the farm's 18th century cart shed, The Wagon is Grade 2 listed and retains its original exposed stone walls and beams. Sleeping 2 plus an infant, the light-filled 5* Gold cottage is a haven for couples looking to exploring North Cornwall's beautiful coast, moorland and fishing villages. The open plan living area has a large sofa with chaise for relaxing in front of the cosy woodburner, a widescreen TV, DVD player, super-fast wi-fi and a DAB radio with Bluetooth speaker. There is a well-equipped country style kitchen area with dining table. The double bedroom with en-suite shower-room and rainfall shower has room for a travel-cot, which can be provided if required with a highchair and fireguard. Bathrobes, slippers and fluffy towels are provided along with a complimentary Sunday newspaper and a welcome pack of locally sourced provisions. Private outdoor terrace with bbq and extensive shared garden areas. Free parking on-site.

Explore the picturesque harbours of Padstow and Port Isaac, build sandcastles, go rock pooling or try your hand at surfing at one of the many nearby beaches, discover the mystical Tintagel Castle, walk the picturesque SouthWest Coast Path and delve into the culinary delights that Cornwall is renowned for. Then return to your traditional stone cottage, rated 5* Gold and 4* Gold and relax; enjoy an evening walk around the 7 acres of gardens and grounds with expansive views, have a barbecue whilst watching the sun set over the valley or snuggle up in front of your wood burning stove with a glass of wine and a good book. Tredarrup is beautifully situated, near North Cornwall's coast and beaches, set amongst farmland with fantastic views across North Cornwall's Allen Valley. St Teath, the local village, has a newsagent, grocery store and a pub with good food. Within easy reach of the North Cornish Coast, surfing at Polzeath, sailing or fishing at Rock, sand castles at Daymer Bay, cycling along the famous Camel Trail, moorland and coastal walks. Nearby are Padstow, Boscastle, Bodmin Moor and the historic fishing village of Port Issac. Only 35 minutes from the Eden Project and 40 minutes from The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

We are located off the A39 near St Teath and Michaelstow, our nearest towns are Camelford, Wadebridge and Bodmin.

We had a really wonderful warm welcome! The cottage had everything we needed and was close to the best beaches and countryside walks in North Cornwall! We can highly recommend!!

Fantastic tranquil cottage in beautiful Cornwall

We've had a great week at The Wagon cottage , Abi is a great host and made us feel very welcome.

Homemade cake was a lovely touch along with the eggs from the chickens here

It's a beautiful tranquil part of Cornwall and we don't want to leave . We will be back

Amazing !!

I have never used websites like this however, the process was made simple and easy. Abi was a great host and the property was amazing, we arrived to a very clean barn and it had all the amenities needed. Great location and amazing info provide of things locally. Abi has really thought about every little detail. It was the perfect touch to our little get away.

Thanks so much Abi and we will defo be staying here again.
