About Rob Hammond
I have been a lifelong resident of Dyer County, Tennessee and have always fished on Reelfoot Lake. I was fortunate to have purchased a weekend cabin on the lake in 2013. It did not take long for me to realize that this is where I wanted to live full time so I sold my home in Dyer County and moved here. The natural beauty of the lake as well as the opportunity to fish and pursue my hobby of photography made this a natural choice. Perhaps the greatest resource here are the locals. Good people, good food, good fishing, good hunting and good photography to me equal HOME!
Rob Hammond purchased this Lodge in 2015
Why Rob Hammond chose Hornbeak
Located across the street from my residence, Driftwood Lodge gives me the opportunity to meet people from all over the United States. The natural beauty of Reelfoot Lake is evident year round and is a hunter and fishermans paradise.
What makes this Lodge unique
Just Google Reelfoot Lake and spend the afternoon checking out the images and history and you will understand my attraction to this area. We can't wait for you to visit also and believe you will leave with fond memories and a greater appreciation for this area. Thanks! Rob Hammond

Wonderful location near the lake. Friendly locals with great knowledge. Kid friendly vacation spot.
Awesome Short Trip!
Lovely cabin in quiet cove. Clean & well stocked. Our pet enjoyed her stay-small blind poodle. Only suggestion would be to spray wash front porch-would be more inviting. Overall we highly recommend the DRIFTWOOD LODGE! Thanks
Perfect for fishermen
Great house for my grandson and I on our Reelfoot fishing trip. Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Good internet connection and dish tv. Also great location with lake view.
Had a wonderful time
Great place for a fishing group.
Everything we needed for a 3 day 4 night stay for a fishing group using both Driftwood and Pintail. Excellent value. Very accommodating hosts in Rob and his wife. Thanks.
Front and back porches need cleaning.
House was clean and well stocked. Loved the location.
Reelfoot Lake is known for its hunting and fishing, but there are other activities available. One of the most photogenic sites in the country for wildlife and sunsets. Their is also an abundance of Bald Eagles and other birds such as Herons, Egrets, and Ospreys. Of course a variety of ducks are more that willing to pose for a quick shot! Lake tours are also available by pontoon boat. Whether hunting or fishing or just relaxing, Driftwood is an affordable getaway at a lake packed with history. Make your plans to visit us soon.
