We had a wonderful first time in Sardinia and this gorgeous villa made it even better!! There's so much detail gone into every room and also the lovely gardens! But the best of all is the master bedroom which has a huge window looking out over the bay as well as a large patio door onto a balcony where you can see even more!! To wake up every morning and see the yachts on the sea and the Maddalena islands in the distance was amazing! You could probably see the sea from nearly every unusually shaped window!! The location of the villa was not far from many nice beaches and restaurants, and it was cleaned every other day. We would definitely recommend it and love to return again some day :)
Villa is on a quiet street set among other villas, not a huge yard but very private and close to the beach. Lots and lots of flowers and blooming trees. We didn't use the pool (prefer the sea) but looked nice.
Well equipped kitchen (owners must cook a lot) but we chose to eat out most nights. One of the great things about the villa is you can walk to several great restaurants. No parking hassles, and felt free to have a glass or two of wine!
Furnishings are above average from our experience. Casual chic rather than glamorous. Could do with a bigger TV but not a big deal.
The outstanding feature of the villa is its views. Pictures don't do it justice. Really nice to watch the boats go by and sunset over Corsica. Views of the mountains in the back are equally nice. Breakfast on the top terrace is truly incredible. Heaven.
We love the Costa Smeralda and would love to stay at the villa again but its a long trip from the USA.
Excellent property. Well maintained. Great location. Magnificent views. Private. Great for families. Worth every Euro.
The villa lies in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, just 2 km north of Porto Cervo. It offers a handful of convenient shops including a grocery store, a cafe-patisserie and several excellent family-friendly restaurants. A 5 minute drive will take you to glamorous Porto Cervo, where you can visit the world class yacht harbour, shop at designer boutiques or dine in a variety of exclusive restaurants. Within a 5-10 minute drive are the many stunning beaches for which the Costa Smeralda is famous. Beautfiul winery (Vigne Surrau) is 15 minute drive. Golfers can tee off at the Pevero Golf Club, an 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones (green fees €55-€90). Tennis can be played at the Cervo Hotel (court fees €10-15). Sailing, yachting and scuba-diving are available in Porto Cervo or Poltu Quatu. The area offers stunning natural scenery, and several pre-historic nuraghic tombs.
