Mareluna residence is a stylish palace far from touristic port only 200 mt, recently renovated. Mareluna is located in the historical centre of Castellammare del Golfo (overlooking the 'four corners' of the town) only 250 m from “Cala Petrolo” the fully equipped beach with deck chairs and beach umbrellas and a few steps away from the enchanting marina and the ancient Arab-Norman castle.
Mareluna Residence is a 'five star' home- holidays with affordable prices for all.
Castellammare is a charming little town west of Palermo. It is an easy drive to Erice, Trapani, and Segesta. The location could not have been better with numerous grocery stores and restaurants within a 2-3 minute walk. The owners were very helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. On our next trip to Sicily there will be no debate on where we stay. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
We are a retired couple in our mid 60s. We stayed in the penthouse apartment for 10 days in early October. The apartment and it's location more than met our expectations. The owner Gino, and his wife and daughter were very helpful.
Castellemare del Golfo is a charming town with an excellent choice of restaurants within easy walking distance. We hired a car and found parking in the narrow streets which surround the apartment quite easy. It might be more difficult in the peak holiday season.
There are lots of walks in the hills above Castellemare and at the nature reserves at Zingaro and Monte Cofano. The historic sites at Erice, Segesta and Selinunte are within easy driving distance.
Delightfully decorated, clean apartment with two balconies, so that you get sun or shade at any time of day. Despite the traffic in the street during the day, it is quiet at night and we didn't have any trouble sleeping. The town is lively and not too touristy, with a busy fishing port, and there is a sand and shingle beach just 5 minutes walk down the road, as well as a long sandy beach 25 minutes walk away. We enjoyed visits to the Zingaro nature reserve (free car park and free entry to OAPs), Cefalu and Erice, and lots of lovely walks in the area. Orianna and her father were extremely helpful; thank you!
i absolutely loved the place. we stayed there with my mum for 6 nights in the rooftop appartment and can absolutely recommend it for those who search for a place to rest and feel homy-comfortable.it's new, well furnished and superclean. we saw also the lower appartments- all pretty much the same style, just in different colors.indeed, as already said above, it's very well located- all the local bars, cafes, gorceries and sights are within 5 min walk.it's great to be able to shop for fruits and veggies on the local market, grab a capuccino on the way back home and open a bottle of wine on your own terrace. a veryvery special thank you to the fantastic owners- Loredana and Gino- your kindness and helpfulness from the first email to the last evening goodbye will remain part of the memories that made that week such a beautiful time for us.till next time- saluti dalla cracovia !

We stayed in the "penthouse" appartment, and we liked it a lot.
Small, but with everything we needed, and very fresh and clean.
We were picked up at Palermo airport by the owners, very convenient! The location is just in the middle of everything, so we
did not have to walk far to find what we needed.
We enjoyed the good air-conditioning, as temperature was around 35 during our stay. Nice bedroom with very good beds.
Very friendly owners, just a pity we do not speak better Italian.
We would absolutely recommend this appartment.

We stayed 6 nights in this lovely apartment in Castallammare del Golfo.
As a family of 4 with the kids being 18 months and 4 years, we had all we needed. The host Loredana was very helpful and even had a small welcome gift ready for our arrival.
Although we didn’t speak Italian and she didn’t speak English we got to arrange for them to bring us a cradle for the youngest – they were very helpful (that’s culla in Italian we know now ?).
We has lots of fun getting to know the people in the streets around the apartment. We spend quite some time on the balcony waving at the gas-man on the other side of the street and got the feeling that we kind of got to know the people there. At least they started to greet us when we met on the streets – lovely.
I would recommend this apartment as a great place to stay if you want to have restaurants and shopping within reach (there were 3 groceries within 50 meters of the apartment.). Castellammare is a great place to stay and it’s easy to get to most of the western part of Sicily and see all the beautiful places.
With an ideal climate, a breath-taking landscape and a clear sea, Castellammare del Golfo is located a short distance from the Palermo and Trapani airports and at an ideal place to enjoy the beauty of western Sicily.
The ruins of Segesta and Selinunte (the largest archaeological park in the Mediterranean), the natural beauty of Scopello, the undisturbed nature of the Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro, the charm of Erice, the elegance of Trapani, the magnificent historical and architectural heritage of Palermo, the secrets of Mothia, the evocative scenery of San Vito lo Capo, and the crystalline waters of Egadi are only a few of the wonders within easy reach of the magnificent town of Castellammare.
