Situated in the pretty village of Beadnell. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it sleeps 9, plus has a nursery with a wooden cot for an additional infant.

Tastefully furnished for family holidays, Holmeside is contemporary in its style and has all the modern conveniences for extended families or friends wanting to get together, on the Northumberland coast. The owners' family and friends use the house often, and this is reflected in the quality furnishings and thoughtful personal touches around the house. Children and pets are well catered for both at the house and on the superb sweeping beaches of Beadnell bay, as are the water sports enthusiasts. Beadnell has its own boat launch facilities less than a quarter mile from the house.

Holmeside has excellent storage facilities in its huge double garage for leisure equipment which guests are welcome to use, and its garden is a large fully enclosed area so a safe haven for pets and children to play, or for alfresco dining, barbecuing and general relaxation. The property is well placed to explore the North Northumberland Coast and all it has to offer.

On the ground floor is a lounge with comfortable sofas and TV, DVD and games station (wii), pebble effect wall fire; a dining room with space for up to 10 persons and cloakroom with wc and whb. The kitchen is a large room with a second additional casual dining table for up to 10, and double doors leading to the garden. The kitchen has a range style cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave. Off the kitchen is a large utility room housing the central heating boiler and immersion heater, washer/drier. The snug -is a 2nd lounge area offering a smaller quiet room with a 2nd TV, music station, games, cds and DVD's.

Large double garage, ideal for extra car parking or storage of leisure equipment, cycles etc. Parking for up to 4 cars on the drive. Fully enclosed large rear garden with patio area and lawn, barbecue, table and chairs for alfresco dining.

What is included:

Bedding (duvets & pillows) and quality bed linens and towels. All rooms have wardrobes or hanging spaces, drawers, bedside tables/cabinets. Wooden drop sided cot & mattress (Please supply your own cot linen & towels for the infant). Heating and hot water is supplied via oil boiler, fuel is included in the price. Electricity, included in the price.

What can be arranged: (charges may apply per week):

Additional travel cot (no mattress protector or linen is supplied), 1 Ikea style High chair is provided FOC, additional high chair, dog duvet/plastic dog bed/dog crate

Special Notes/Conditions:

Up to 2 well behaved dogs welcome, additional charge of £25.00 per pet per week or part thereof. To book your dog in, please add a note to the property manager when you place your booking. You will need to pay separately the £25 for your dog, one of the property management team will contact you once your booking arrives.

This property requires a £250 good housekeeping bond to be lodged during your stay. To arrange payment of the the good housekeeping bond, one of the property management team will contact you once your booking arrives.

An excellent family holiday

Our party consisted of ourselves (two seventy year olds) plus our 3 children and their partners so the amount of space available at Holmeside was very much appreciated. We had two small dogs with us so the enclosed, spacious garden was excellent for them and was a great place to sit and eat out as the weather was really hot. The house is in a small estate but was very quiet (apart from when the bin was emptied at 3.45am on our last night!) and Beadnell is one of our favourite places to stay on this coast. It has a great beach and the walking in the area is good. It is also very convenient for visiting many attractions in the area.

Well maintained modern property safe and secure for small children and pets.

Clean, modern and well equipped property 5 minutes walk from fantastic beach and rock pools. Our party comprised children aged 2 to 12 and there was an amazing range of games, toys, sports and beach equipment to keep all fully occupied.

Evidence of dog hairs on living room carpet where our toddler was crawling...would suggest a pet vacuum cleaner is needed. Internet reception is poor so leave iPad at home! All in all a great property for large family with children and would certainly recommend.

Spacious and comfortable and in an ideal location, only a five minute walk to a lovely beach.The house provided all the amenities a family could want. Kitchen was fitted with good quality appliances. The village has a good pub and an excellent cafe which serves good quality evening meals. Bamburgh is only a 15 minute drive away, so Homeside is situated in an excellent location for sightseeing the area.

The ONLY negative was that throughout our week stay we had no internet connection. Apparently this was due to a fault with the sky box but wasn't fixed during the time we were there. This meant that making bookings / checking opening times was very difficult. However, if this fault is rectified I would recommend this property.

Owner's Response: Pleased you appreciated everything Homeside has to offer to make a stay enjoyable. The issue with the internet was unfortunate, Sky sent a spare part which was delivered earlier in the week but the guests did not advise us as requested. The internet was working when we called on the Friday and the problem is now fully rectified. We hope you will return again to Homeside in the future. "The Owners" note that there have been further issues with the internet which transpires to have been a broken incoming telephone cable giving intermittent problems. This has now been completely replaced and the internet is now running as it should. 20/09/2017.
