This cozy apartment is located in a building of the eighteenth century, in a 2nd floor without elevator (characteristic of these buildings), close to the main and most interesting points of Lisbon, as well as public transport (train, metro, tram, bus, boat and wait 5-10 minutes). A very lively and diverse place, where everything is within walking distance.The neighborhood, as it is also known, is one of the most sought after areas in Lisbon nightlife for generations here are the bars and pubs, such as the typical fado houses.The combination of older residents and a rejuvenated population, is reflected by the existing trade offer these streets. From the small grocery store, the studios of designers, tattoo parlors and body piercing, Bairro Alto offers a very unique way of life.

From here, you can easily walk to visit a large number of points of interest in Lisbon (good walks along the Tagus river, spectacular nightlife, visit other picturesque neighborhoods like Madragoa, Chiado, Baixa, Mouraria, Alfama, among others).
The Bairro Alto is currently a quiet and traditional neighborhood of Lisbon during the day, transforming from the beginning of the night into the main nightlife spot and meeting point of different cultures and generations.
A very lively and diverse neighborhood, close to public transport (train, subway, tram, bus, boat and taxis within 5-10 minutes), restaurants, galleries, bars, live music, banks, grocery stores, pharmacies, newsagents and ethnic shops.
To visit Bairro Alto it is advisable to make the visit on foot so that you can stop and observe the details, as you will pass streets with traditional balconies with outfits and children playing. You will see squares and commercial streets where there are some avant-garde clothing stores, artists, sculptors or international brands, all in the same web of streets. Visiting the National Museum of Natural History, next to the botanical garden, and the Santa Justa Elevator, is a must!
You can also, from here, reach Bethlehem, eat your divine cake and visit the Jeronimos Monastery.
In Sintra, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will find sweets such as the conventual queijadas and famous pillows, not to mention the wonderful visit to Pena Palace and Moorish Castle.
