Comfortable fully equipped apartment for 4 persons, with terrace and balcony

This completely renovated 85 m² welcoming apartment with bright and spacious rooms, each one with sea-view, is suitable for 4 persons (and maximum 1 child). A large terrace (30 m²) and a balcony (5 m²) enable you to enjoy the magnificent scenery while you are having a meal or just relaxing.

The fully equipped kitchen (glass top, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine) has one window and one door, exit to the terrace. In the living room (20 m²), with three windows and a stunning view towards the island Lokrum and the sea, there is a dining table for 6 persons and a comfortable sitting area where you can watch satellite-TV and DVD. Both bedrooms have a wonderful view towards the sea and The Old Town. The larger bedroom (19 m²) has three windows while the smaller bedroom (16 m²) has one window and a balcony door. There are two modern bathrooms, each one with shower and toilet. All rooms, including kitchen, are equipped with air-conditioning and central heating.

I'm born and raised in Dubrovnik. Married with Hasse born and grown-up in Sweden. Although we live in Sweden most of the year we spend each year several months in this apartment.

Amazing apartment and lovely owner

Had the most amazing stay at this apartment, the location is just perfect. Everything you could want is in walking distance. The apartment is well stocked with everything you need. Sitting out on the balcony of an evening watching the boats go by was just lovely. Marija and her assistants family were very helpful. We will return to this apartment for many more short breaks. Fallen in love with croatia and in particular Dubrovnik. Thank you Marija for making our holiday so memorable x

Awesome Location!

Previous reviews are spot on...the apartment is located in a truly magical location, overlooking the southern end of the Old City, with views directly out to Lokrum Island. The apartment itself is comfortable with updated kitchen and bathrooms. The bedrooms and space in general are perfect for 4 people. The beach (popular Banje Beach) is located right down the long set of steps that is great exercise coming and going. We spent most of our time on the verandah taking in the views. Marija is very prompt with communication and pleasant to work with. Easy process of payment and all other arrangements (with airport pick up arranged)--there is a taxi queue and food markets (and bakery) very close by. If you are taking island excursions from Gruz Port, you can either take taxi (15 minutes) or city bus, stops are close by. We enjoyed our week immensely and cannot wait to come back to Croatia!

Lovely apartment, well equipped, spacious with fantastic views and great location

The apartment is probably in the best possible location.

It is near a local beach, amazing views from the main rooms and a lovely terrace.

It is on the best side of the old town, on the opposite side of the main hotel area and the city gate where all of the cruise ship coaches converge.

The walk into the old town is around 3 minutes with the entrance gate being quieter than and more appealing than the opposite size of town.

The owners were very helpful arranging transportation to and from the airport plus organising a friendly welcome and orientation at the apartment on arrival.

The apartment is also used as a home and was consequently fully equipped with a few nice touches such as teas and coffee available.

One of the best places I have stayed.

Best VRBO we have ever stayed in after 20 years of VRBO stays.

Great location, a 'few' steps to Banje Beach, 7 min to the old town. Beautiful view, impeccably furnished and finished apartment right down to the artwork. Even though we ate out quite a bit, the provisions in the kitchen were a pleasant surprise. Every spice and condiment available. Great decks, great views, I can't say enough about how fantastic this place is. Heated floors in the bathroom were a nice surprise. On top of everything, transfers arranged from the airport were much appreciated and flawless. Kiko, the taxi driver was a pleasure to meet and talk to. Nika who met us and showed us the apt. was a real pleasure to meet and talk to. Don't think twice about staying here.

Location and Views!

So close to Old Town. Great beach below unit. Multiple views. Ease of check-in and check out. Super clean. Apartment has everything one might need - kitchen the best = fully stocked kitchen and all appliances / cooking utensils one might need. Apartment has heat and air condition. Owner is very helpful and cooperative. We would definitely return. Recommendation - don't bring a rental car; or at least turn in once you arrive like we did. 5 star experience!

Dubrovnik's Hidden Gem

Marija is an outstanding host. The communication prior to my trip was excellent. Marija always responded in a rapid and timely manner, and she was very accommodating with my needs which included payment options, taxi service to and from the house, and contact information for emergency purposes. Marija is the owner, and Milena is the property manager who works for Marija.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the driver of taxi service Marija set up for us. He was on time and was right outside of the baggage claim. When we arrived to the house, we were greeted by Milena (property manager) who had the keys and a bottle of wine ready. The property was extremely clean, spacious, and had a warm and cozy feel. My attraction to the property was the terrace overlooking the sea, banja beach, and old town (all in one view). There was a/c in the bedrooms which worked very well, and the noise from banja beach was not an issue at all. A previous review mentioned noise issue, but we did not encounter this at all.

Although we spent most of our time outside of the house, we had no issues whatsoever with this property. Marija even created a binder with all the numbers to call, restaurants to visit, and things to do.

The property is in a very safe location, 1 minute (walking) from banja beach, 4 min (walking) from old town. This property is located in an excellent location, and I will stay here again when I return. I was more than satisfied with this property.

This apartment is situated in Ploce district, about 250 m southeast of The Old Town. It is a residential area where villas and gardens are situated on the slopes of the coastal mountains. The streets going up from the sea, including our street, are mostly steps.

Right down, about 100 m below the house, there is a public beach with a restaurant and other beach facilities. Within 250 m from the apartment there are nice walking areas along the coast, a few more restaurants, supermarkets, newspaper stands (foreign newspapers), bus stations (local buses), rent-a-car, art gallery as well as the luxury hotels Excelsior, Argentina and Villa Dubrovnik.

The distance to The Old Town centre is about 300 m. There you can visit many restaurants, cafés, bars, pubs, shops, fruit and vegetables market, banks, museums, historical buildings as well as the entrances to the city-walls. In The Old Town harbour you can find ferryboats to neighbouring islands and places.

Other Activities: Summer Festival, July 10 to August 25, daily outdoor performancies such as concerts, theatre or folklore
