Each and every floor tile that cover the floors of all 300 Apple Stores that are scattered around the globe are from and "Made in Florence". Firenzuola is the local quarry which have been in operation from the 60's and have been able to extract the famous "Pietra serena" sandstone. This company was recruited by the giant of technology Cupertino in 2002 to become the creator of the perfect tile, which was in great demand by none other than Steve Jobs to exclusively cover the floors of his Apple stores worldwide. The same sought after "perfect tile" which consists of rigid and heavy, new-age material has been used for the creation of this exclusive kitchen.
The living space opens up onto a beautiful spacious terrace of about 50 square meters, featuring teak flooring and the fully equipped kitchen consisting of a breakfast table with adequate settings according to the number of guests. The master bedroom is separated from the living room by a removable booth and furnishings which guarantee the privacy of the occupants.
Whilst walking up the staircase made of timber and steel, you unconsciously take notice of the carefully animated subdued light. The second terrace is approximately 40 square meters of breathtaking views which are amazingly dominated by the Prendiparte Guidozagni and the magnificent view of the Cathedral of Saint Peter. The second bedroom can be accessed directly from the deck, and also gives you the option to expand your view to that of the Piazza Maggiore and the Basilica of the San Petronio. It is appropriately furnished with a comfortable two-person sofa bed. It features a convenient built-in storage facility which is located inconspicuously in a wall component, and an extremely useful space which is dedicated to meditation, study and reading.
The bathroom is located on the lower level of the apartment. The pure white ceramic has found a perfect contrast to the dark grey of the pietra serena tile which extends its unique finish to the bathrooms wall cabinets. The length to the ceiling is a high 5 meters and the king-size shower is stylishly separated from the rest of the bathroom by the division of a beautiful crystal wall. An extra toilet is cleverly concealed on the terrace above and is available to any guests that may require it whilst on that floor.
