Great little cabin! Private, clean and very close to the event we attended and downtown Pigeon Forge for dinner/entertainment options. Will def stay here again!
Not exactly a “Mountain View” but location is good. Clean inside.
Everything was good. Any issue we had it was felt with professionally. In past reviews others have mention dump trucks on the one lane road due to the road being washed out. And the road is less than 10 feet from the master bedroom corner of the house where they drive past to go back to the washed out road. We too had this during our stay bobcats as well as dump trucks. And again was told it was due to the road being washed out from all the heavy rainfall. So keep that in mind when you travel and plan to stay here.
The trash area or “wooden bin” for our cabin was actually inside the garage on the property. ( That’s the front porch view, a white two door cinder block garage. )
And inside was not a wooden bin or any bin of the sort. It was very dirty and disgusting to say the least once we could lift the door to put the garbage bag in there. I’m glad that part was at the end of the stay cause it totally gave me mixed reviews on the property maintenance and upkeep.
We would recommend taking extra toiletries with you. There was one small round bar of soap in the bathroom and one 1/2 roll of TP.
Linens on the bed were really nice and the towels were plush. Beds were creeky due to the box springs probably being older or a cheaper made brand. But over all they were firm and pillows were comfortable.
For all the makings of home I would give this a 4 out of 5 stars.
For comfort I would give this 4 as well.
Friendliness of staff and personnel I would give 5 stars.
Property upkeep I would say that some major repairs are needed for the road and to not allow guests to open the garage to see trash area. That’s Only 2 stars.
Location I would give this 4 stars.
Alone at last
What an awesome place to stay out of the way but easy to get to everything.Cabin is great no complaints at all loved the stream next to our cabin very private we will be back again we. stayed 02/19
When we arrived the place was perfect. It had everything we needed for a small weekend getaway. It was very quite part of town but close enough to go into Gatlinburg to have fun as well.
Cozy and quiet
The cabin is close to Townsend and Pigeon Forge. It was very clean and comfortable.I enjoyed my stay.
Enjoyed our time. Perfect for our needs. Thanks for the firewood...that was a nice touch.
Alone At Last is located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Just 5 miles in either direction will get you to either the Metcalf Bottoms entrance or the Townsend entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
