You are in the mountains and above the town of Champoluc. Easy access to the town for food and restaurants but with the views and sunshine (sunniest part of the valley). The 180 degree views from the terrace include the Monte Rosa glacier and a stunning waterfall which you can hear from the house during the Summer months.

Spacious, comfortable rascard.

Arriving on a late afternoon in winter for a skiing holiday was easy and welcoming.....directions were great....the house is a wonderful combination of space, light and comfort.

The house was warm, clean and had absolutely everything you could imagine to make you feel at home.

Stunning traditional house in ski-heaven

Beautiful traditional wooden rascard, just steps away from the ski bus, what more could you ask for. We had a gorgeous time skiing in the deep powder snow and glorious sunshine, eating at quaint lunch spots on the mountain, sampling the delights of the Aosta region. It really was a perfect week. Can't wait to come again. Thank you Stephens family.

Loved it. Well equipped. Great view

Great start.

House: Clean, uncluttered, comfy. Good equipment -- especially the coffee machine. Satellite TV worked well. Great view -- we loved sitting out on balcony for breakfast/ dinner.

Area: Good walking in summer, and i suspect skiing in winter.

Would recommend it to anyone who loves the mountains.

Gorgeous and relaxing stay

We have stayed here three times and had the most fantastic holidays all trips. We've been twice in the winter and once in the summer and already booked are next summer holiday! The house itself is perfectly situated just above Champoluc village, a beautiful relaxing location- but still close enough to stroll into the village where there are plenty of delicious restaurants and handy shops.

Some of the highlights from our Winter holidays include:

1. Fantastic skiing, with an hourly bus door to door from the house to the ski lifts.

2. An amazing evening meal up the mountains, with a skidoo ride from the lift to restaurant.

3. New Year's fireworks from the house, overlooking multiple displays in many villages in the mountains.

4. Getting the wood fire on for a cozy night in.

And Summer highlights:

1. Incredible scenery and walks particularly walking to Lago Bleu and Lago Perrin- STUNNING crystal clear glacial lakes

2. Delicious food

3. Relaxing on the terrace overlooking the waterfall.

4. Picking up local produce from the deli, greengrocers and butchers.

I can not recommend this place highly enough- it really is beautiful.

Excellent scenery for walking, cycling, climbing, skiing and ski-touring.

There is a bus stop outside the house with a free bus service operating during the ski season and in July and August.

Spring and Autumn are excellent times to visit if you like peace, relaxation and nature. A car is needed when there is no free bus service.
