Very well suited to families with quality toys, books and games and free wifi.

Accomodation includes, one double, one single and one bunk room. there is space to add a cot in any of the rooms.

Well equipped kitchen with lovely views of the Purbeck hills

and a large spacious lounge with french doors and a balcony with a small table and chairs

Off street parking can be arranged if required.

Hello,

Our property in swanage has recently been renovated by ourselves. I grew up in Swanage and know the area well. It is a beautiful area surrounded by lovely beaches and countryside. We have really enjoyed getting this apartment ready for a season of letting and although it is only our second year of letting this property we have successfully let our own house for four years.This has enabled us to see closely what people like in a holiday property and hopefully we have provided the perfect coastal escape that is family friendly. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions and feel free to call for a chat if you are interested in letting it, we may be flexible on changeover times and dates.

Well-presented, bright, spacious and very child-friendly

The property is well equipped with all the necessities and a good selection of toys are available for children. Good WiFi speed so we were able to stream movies via a google chromecast straight onto the TV for a movie night with plenty of snacks! The TV is on the small side but it wasn't a real problem for us.

The property was well furnished and presented very nicely. Has a lovely nautical theme! It's the perfect place for a nice little getaway with a few friends (or a family)! Conveniant location so getting to places was nice and easy. Beach is closeby - great for an evening stroll! Great view from the front door which was a nice little bonus and we were able to watch the sunset!

Overall, it was a great place to stay and we had a fab time there. Wish we could have stayed a little longer! Hope to visit again soon. Highly recommend!!!! Met the owner of the property - she is a gem. Lovely person who was very accommodating! Thank you very much for a great experience.

Comfortable apartment in good location

We returned after a stay last year. The apartment is light and airy, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent for the town and beach while being on a quiet road.

The only minor disadvantages were not having a proper shower and, in the high winds we experienced during our stay, some rattling of internal doors.

Could have been cleaner

On arrival I decided to make a cup of tea but found some mugs and teaspoons to be badly stained which I cleaned without much effort !

The bathroom had many cobwebs on the wall and ceiling but particularly on the window, not a good start.

The shower was only suitable for washing hair as the flexible hose was not long enough to use when standing and there was no shower curtain.

The " Recently refurbished " obviously did not include the radiator in the dining area which was badly rusted.

Overall not to the standard that I expected.

Owner's Response: Dear Brian , I am sorry that it didnt meet your expectations. I do usualy check the mugs but i do rely on past guests to leave as found. It is easy to miss a couple of cobwebs and they can appear pretty quickly ! Fair point regarding the raidiator in the kitchen .. we have completley refurbished the flat but unfortunatley we had a leak during a heavy storm and the radiator got wet . It is on the list to replace this winter when we get a week free from rentals. I do however think your review was a little harsh? Where are the positive comments too? I think you will have found the place pretty spotless elsewhere and I am sure there are things about it you liked. to use "could be cleaner" as a title ? I urge you to be a little fairer next time you think about leaving a review.

Light Bright Property

This property worked for us, plenty of space and the walking was just a few streets away to Old Harry Rock.

We would stay again in future when we visit Swanage

We stayed at Sea Mist for a few nights at Easter 2017. What a lovely place to stay, it was clean, bright and homely. We were very impressed with the flowers, biscuits and milk in the fridge on arrival. Thank you Andrea x

Spacious, clean & tidy and beach around the corner

What a getaway! Enjoyed every minute of our stay. The beach is just around the corner (5mins walk) and everything has a good vibe to it. The property was clean and tidy upon our arrival, and had everything we needed from pots to pans. The decor is lovely and modern and has a good feel factor. The balcony was a plus for us and waking up to sunshine and enjoying the weather in March aswell!! Awesome. My only suggestion would be possibly getting lights fitted in the living room. Althought the lamps do the job, they dont do enough justice. I highly reccomend this place, but if you require wheelchair access then its not ideal or those who struggle to use stairs. If i return one day i will be back!.

Swanage has a lovely sheltered fine sandy beach. The beach is a short two min stroll from the apartment . It has a good selection of cafés and watersports hire. The north end of the beach is also accessible to dogs all year round. Studland beach is a beautiful national trust beach with miles of golden sand and dunes. Durdle door, Lulworth cove, Corfe castle and Kimmeridge all close by.
