Chalet in Dawlish Warren, South Devon, England - Peaceful Location, 10 Minutes Walk To The Beach
Beaches Chalet is situated in a quiet and peaceful location on the northern edge of the 4* Welcome Holiday Park, south facing and nestled amongst lawns and gardens.
The Park has Swimming Pools, Bar, Restaurant and Entertainment areas, available to our guests (for a small fee) from Easter until the end of October each year. The Chalet is available for hire from mid-March until mid-January each year.
The Chalet has an open-plan Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen area, a Bathroom with Walk-In Shower Cubicle, Wash Basin and WC, a Double and a Twin Bedroom, sleeping up to 4 people, plus there is room for a travel cot.
There is a patio with seating at the front of the property.
A 500m flat walk from the Welcome Holiday Park is Dawlish Warren's long, sandy beach, which in 2017 was awarded the Internationally renowned Blue Flag Beach for the 19th consecutive year.
Dawlish Warren is ideally located on the south-east coast of Devon, near the estuary of the River Exe,
close to Exeter, Torbay and Dartmoor and within easy travelling distance of
a wealth of adventure parks, animal reserves, walking and cycling tracks,
woods, castles, gardens and beaches.

About Alan & Lynne Shepherd
Between us we have many years experience of working in the hospitality industry. We have worked in a variety of hotels, from country house inns, grand London hotels and busy airport hotels, owned a hotel in Cornwall, and worked in retail and catering. We currently live in Teignmouth which is about 10 minutes from Dawlish Warren. In the beginning of 2015 the property underwent a complete refurbishment, including new kitchen and bathroom and floorboards throughout. We installed new furniture, rugs and curtains in order, we hope, to make this property a comfortable and pleasant home from home!

Dawlish Warren is a beautiful part of south-east Devon, with wonderful sandy beaches, wildlife reserve, golf course, shops, bars and restaurants.
What makes this Chalet unique
Beaches is furnished and equipped to a high standard and provides everything needed for a comfortable holiday. The comfortable beds, which include a 4'6" double and two 3' singles, are made up ready for your arrival. The kitchen has a full-sized electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice-box and plenty of pots and pans if you wish to cook for yourselves. There are no hidden extras, all your electricity is included in the price.

We appreciate your feedback and as a result we have rectified the mould issue and replaced all the key safes with much more customer -friendly ones.
Coast/Beach: 500m flat walk to the long, sandy beach. Lifeguards are on duty in the summer season. The beach has been awarded the European Blue Flag award for 17 consecutive years. Travel: Nearest Railway Station - Dawlish Warren, 300m Nearest Airports - Exeter 14 miles, 22km Bristol 75 miles, 120km Distances: Dawlish 1.5 miles Exeter 11 miles Torquay 13 miles Plymouth 45 miles Dartmoor National Park 22 miles Exmoor National Park 60 miles Further Details: Dawlish Warren has two small Supermarkets, a Chemist and a good selection of Gift and Souvenir Shops as well as several Take-Aways. There are ATMs in both supermarkets. Sainsburys is about a mile away. Dawlish is just over a mile away and has an excellent range of shops and banks.

A 20% deposit is required to secure your reservation, with the balance due 4 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. Changeover Day: Changeover day is usually Saturday but we are happy to be flexible out of season. Arrival is 3.00pm and departure is 10.00am.
