The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, dining room and cosy snug with Smart TV for cosy nights in front of the log burner or alternatively BBQ on the terrace on a summers evening and soak up the tranquility of the area. The garden has raised levels along one side so toddlers will need a watchful eye on them which you can do whilst relaxing in the hammock.

Cosy cottage in idyllic setting
Really enjoyed five days over Christmas at Waterfall cottage..our dog Molly loved the garden and snug was very cosy for the two of us. Well equipped kitchen and master bedroom was comfortable. Thanks to Tracey for making it festive.. we'll definitely stay again.
Beautiful, cosy accomodation
Wonderful week away. Cottage was clean and cosy. Tranquil setting, all you need for a holiday away from the rat run!
Beautiful cosy cottage in a gorgeous spot.
We loved our stay in Waterfall Cottage. The cottage is beautifully presented and maintained to a high standard with all you could want for a home from home break. A peaceful location only interrupted by the lovely cows occupying the next field.
The village is picture postcard, with a babbling brook and a lovely swing next to the bridge and a lovely pub full of history, with excellent food and selection of drinks.
We had beautiful weather and were able to just enjoy the location, the grounds, the trampoline and the hammock, it was bliss. The owners were very helpful and friendly as were the farmers next door.
If you are unsure, just book it and go, you will not be disappointed!
Beautiful Cottage in an idillic setting
What a wonderful location, as per other comments the photographs on line do not do this cottage the justice it really deserves. The property is charming and very comfortable we could just picture winter here with the fires roaring. One of the best features of this cottage is the location and subsequently the neighbours. Our children were mesmerised by the them in the fields and found it fascainating when the local farmers moved the sheep and cattle between fields very rapidly and seemlessly. We can't even move the children from the house to the car so quickly and with such ease. There were lots of extra touches in the cottage that may seem little but really made the stay even more comfortable. Can not recommend this property highly enough and the hospitality extended from Tracey and here family. Would most definitely consider renting this property again The Rusts!!!!
Thank you for such a lovely review. So glad you had a fab time and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Kindest regards, Tracey & Family.
An amazing house that exceeded expectations instantly. We have had a wonderful week.
This property is superb, the pictures do not do it enough justice. It has been extended and decorated to perfection. The children loved coming back to the house each day to run around the garden until late in the evening. They loved the trampoline, the farm dog, the farm cat and especially the cows which surround the property. We all enjoyed the house and surroundings very very much. The house is situated in a perfect position for seeing the sights and is close to the coast. We visited Weymouth, Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Beer, Paingnton, Babbacombe, Torquay and Brixham. A very very enjoyable week had by all of us, ages from 2 to 70!!!
Beautiful cottage in lovely location. Log fire was a bonus. We had the best Sunday lunch at the Tuckers arms but make sure you book.
Waterfall Cottage was renovated in 2015. The property is set on the outskirts of Dalwood. A quiet village on the edge of the Blackdown Hills a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The market town of Axminster is only 3 miles away. It holds its farmers market every Thursday and is home to the River Cottage Canteen and Deli. Honiton is 5 miles away. It boasts numerous antique shops and its homemade Ice Cream Shop is well worth a visit. A walkers paradise Dalwood has many footpaths to explore the local countryside. The South West Coastal Path along the Jurassic Coast, a twenty minute drive away offers many more miles taking in the sights of Lyme Regis, Beer and Branscombe to name a few. The picturesque village of Dalwood has a 12th Century pub. The Tuckers Arms serves great food and stocks local ales and wines from the Dalwood Vineyard. The village also has a community shop and the Jubilee Gardens playground are all a short stroll away. The cottage itself is situated next to Stonehayes Farm and overlooks the Corry Brook, an idyllic location perfect for a country getaway.
