Worked well for our group!
The property was exactly as described and quite comfortable for our group of 5. The location was great — and walkable to everything (including the Britt Festival). While others commented on the street noise, we didn’t seem to notice it. And, between the indoor and outdoor spaces, we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed and the little basket of goodies we received upon check in were wonderful.
The communication (via email) with the manager during and after the booking process was amazing. She was so responsive and provided all the information we needed every step of the way. And, we met the owners who were incredibly helpful and nice.
Would absolutely stay here again.
It couldn’t have been better. Would stay here again without hesitation. Location, location, location! Charming cottage with every amenity.
Enjoyed the Inn
Everything was so clean and organized. Quiet cottage right by grocery so we could walk to it. Very comfortable and easy to contact manager. Highly recommend.
great location; very nice.
This was a sweet place to stay, and walking distance to everything in town. The only issue was that the upstairs room was very warm, and I can't see how it would be to stay there in really hot weather. There was a fan, which made it doable in 85 degree weather during the day. The owners were very nice and helpful. I would stay here again, just not during the hot season.
We loved it! To walk in and see the beautiful christmas tree so was fun and unexpected. It was very homey. The only negative is it's just one bathroom, but we knew that before hand.
Excellent house, excellent location
The Inn on 5th Street is a three bedroom, one bathroom house on the corner of 5th and E in the center of Jacksonville. It is directly across the street from Ray's (grocery store). This property was perfect for my family-- Our teenage son and daughter both had their own rooms, and there was plenty of space for privacy. We managed to share one bathroom during our visit. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything that would be required to cook good meals. The owners were very kind in leaving nice treats (liquid and sweet varieties), and the property manager is great to work with (from experience). We would definitely stay here again.
Enjoy Southern Oregon! Wine tasting and touring, paragliding, the Britt Festivals, Shakespeare Festival. Mountain Biking. The list is endless.
