Lovely apartment in a great location!
We stayed here for four nights in June for a walking break. The location of the property was excellent, it was close to everything. We didn't have a car and that was fine as it is close to the station and we could walk to Bowness for the ferry. The apartment was lovely and clean and well furnished, it was a pleasure to stay there and would not hesitate to return!

Great Apartment in Heart of Windermere
Really lovely apartment right in the centre of town, close to many shops / restaurants/ pubs and only a short walk away from the lake. Was very clean and tidy, and concise communication with the host. If we come to Windermere in the future, would 100% stay here again.
Lovely flat, great location!
The flat was perfect for our short stay and Jane was at hand with any questions we had both before and during our trip. The rooms were bright and spacious, the kitchen well equipped and flat generally clean and tidy. We will certainly visit again!

Coast/Beach: Approx 1 mile from the lake. Travel: Windermere train station 1 minute walk away. Local taxi firms nearby. Bus stop near by. Distances: Many great walks , bars, restaurants on the doorstep. Further Details: The Lake District is full of activities, from walking in the hills to sailing on the many Lakes. Windermere itself is stocked with excellent restaurants,local shops, 3 supermarkets and plenty of pubs to tempt you out. The orrest head walk is opposite the apt where views of the lake are stunning.
