We are a couple with four wonderful grown up children and an adorable grand daughter. Dave has been visiting St.Ives for holidays for over 50 years, he knows the area well.

Liz studied hospitality management, has enjoyed a long career in the industry and achieved a number of prestigious awards.

It is spacious and guests benefit from parking in front of the property, membership to the gym, pool and spa at the Harbour Hotel which is 2 minutes walk from the door.

A lovely apartment plenty of room, great parking and very helpful owners. It was a pleasure to stay there, we couldn't ask for anything more and the weather was fantastic. We would definitely book again...Go on treat yourself and have a nice break!

Notes on accommodation: St Ives Bay has been voted one of the most beautiful bays in the world and has one of Cornwalls finest beaches including the famous surfing beach at Porthmeor. There is a shared lockable outdoor store for wetsuits and other holiday equipment. Outside: The balcony has a table and seating for two people. The property does not have its own garden but is a short walk from the garden area next to Porthminster beach. The swimming pool is located at the local hotel and is shared with other guests. Utility Room: The utility is equipped with a washing machine, ironing board, iron, clothes airer and storage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. The property is managed by a dedicated housekeeper who has extensive experience in hospitality management. Other: There is a bench in the hall for storage of shoes and seating to get ready or return from fabulous days and evenings out. The cloak area is in the hall.

A beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located apartment. Exactly as described and pictured.

I absolutely adore this apartment, I don't think I could ever stay anywhere else when I visit St Ives again. The views from the living room and bedroom are breathtaking. Liz and Dave are lovely hosts, accessing the apartment was easy, and they were extremely helpful (and patient) advising me during the booking process too. The apartment is exactly as pictured: spacious, comfortable and very clean. Location wise it is ideally located, a short walk from the main attractions and highly recommended restaurants. There is a great guide prepped by L & D for the home as well as what to do around town. Access to the Harbour Spa is a great addition, we made use of the gym and spa facilities - it's a lovely hotel. The only problem was the weather but nothing anyone can do about that!

Beautiful apartment with stunning views

Wow!!! What a beautiful apartment, although the photos are great they really don't do justice to how lovely this place is, the beds are extremely comfy, the bathrooms are modern and spotlessly clean with lovely strong showers, the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need (including a seperate wine chiller fridge 😁👍🏻) the lounge is comfortable, light and airy with huge sash windows almost down to the floor which, when we were in, we had open all the time so we could hear the sea which is just across the road. Location is excellent, just a 5 minute stroll to the centre of St Ives or the harbour. We love it here so much that we have just paid our deposit to return for the third time next year ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻

Amazing location and spotless apartment

This was our first trip to St Ives and the apartment really made our stay perfect and the views from the living room and main bedroom are amazing. It rained heavily on our second day there so staying in such a nice place made up for the rubbish weather. We were also able to use the swimming pool in the hotel located across the road.Luckily the rest of our time there the weather did pick up and the location of the apartment was great for access to the porthminster beach and also St Ives town centre. Great for travelling with 2 little ones. We had trouble getting into the bin store but Claire was extremely helpful and quick to respond. We will definitely be coming back.

Wedding celebration

We chose this apartment for its proximity to our sons wedding venue,

We can say without any reservation it was a fantastic choice. The apartment was perfectly laid out with plenty of space for all 4 members of our party. The amenities are modern and well presented, even includes a windbreaker for the beach, and an umbrella for the rain, although we didn't have any luckily. Porthminster View is definitely at the top of our list for any future visits to this lovely area of Cornwall, and we can recommend with any hesitation both the apartment and it's brilliant owners, who are more than happy to help with any situation. Thank you for letting us your property.
