About Dave & Liz Waterfall

We are a couple with four wonderful grown up children and an adorable grand daughter. Dave has been visiting St.Ives for holidays for over 50 years, he knows the area well.

Liz studied hospitality management, has enjoyed a long career in the industry and achieved a number of prestigious awards.

The property has the character and history of an old Manor House with all of the modern standards and equipment of a new building fitted out to a high specification.

It is spacious and guests benefit from parking in front of the property, membership to the gym, pool and spa at the Harbour Hotel which is 2 minutes walk from the door.

A lovely apartment plenty of room, great parking and very helpful owners. It was a pleasure to stay there, we couldn't ask for anything more and the weather was fantastic. We would definitely book again...Go on treat yourself and have a nice break!

Notes on accommodation: St Ives Bay has been voted one of the most beautiful bays in the world and has one of Cornwalls finest beaches including the famous surfing beach at Porthmeor. There is a shared lockable outdoor store for wetsuits and other holiday equipment. Outside: The balcony has a table and seating for two people. The property does not have its own garden but is a short walk from the garden area next to Porthminster beach. The swimming pool is located at the local hotel and is shared with other guests. Utility Room: The utility is equipped with a washing machine, ironing board, iron, clothes airer and storage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. The property is managed by a dedicated housekeeper who has extensive experience in hospitality management. Other: There is a bench in the hall for storage of shoes and seating to get ready or return from fabulous days and evenings out. The cloak area is in the hall.

When we first arrived and walked in to the living area the view is breath taking

There are a couple of little pointers, the setee in the master bedroom would be better off being a dressing table, the dishwasher wasn't working properly which we let Claire know about, not that it botherd us, we also never received an E:Mail from yourselfs regarding entry to the property but Claire was very helpful, apart from those little isues we throughly enjoyed our stay it is a beautiful property with a stunning view and also in walking distance to St.ives which was a god send for me as I drive for a living so left the car. We will return as it was so relaxing,

Property is first class everything you need and couldn't get a better location for St Ives. Having the parking also is a added benefit. Views are amazing. Will defently recommend it to all my friends and we will defently be back .

Beautiful place and view to match

The apartment is delightful, well fitted out and has a great view over the bay. It is a perfect base to explore the area or just go to the beach. The use of the spa facilities only 100 yards away is a great bonus too.

Fantastic apartment with amazing views!

Porthminster View is a fantastic place to stay. The apartment offers all you need with a real feel of luxury but the views are what makes this apartment even more special. We didn't want to go home! Excellent location, proximity to the beach is great, particularly if you have young children like we have. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent apartment - equipped to a high standard. Wind break and children's beach buckets useful!

We enjoyed a very relaxing two weeks - apartment enjoys beautiful views and is great location. Having a car park space proved very useful. Would definitely recommend this property as an ideal base for a family holiday.

Porthminster VIew

Wonderfully situated apartment. Close to beach and towns. Well appointed with very comfortable furnishings and tasteful decorations. Well thought out with obvious care by the owners. Pleasure to stay there and hope to revisit the experience again next year.
