Ideal Lakes Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Small but peaceful and cosy with everything you need, including quick access to Glenridding and Ullswater.

We had a very relaxed time here, and it was a great starting point for walks and trips while also enabling us to get away from it all.

Amazing cottage in a beautiful location. We had a fantastic week in the cottage. Really cosy. Even the Tesco van could get up the track.

Absolutely beautiful

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. A short walk down the track takes you on to the Ullswater Way, easily connecting you to Glenridding in one direction or Aira Force in the other. So much to do around the area and yet the cottages are perfectly secluded up in the valley.

The cottage is well furnished with everything you need, the storage heaters are pretty good at their job but that wood burner was a definite highlight of our stay.

Stunning place, stunning views, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

There are numerous picturesque walks of varying difficult, direct from the door of the property. More difficult walks include Sheffield Pike and the challenge of Helwellyn with the walk around Ullswater to Pooley Bridge providing gentler terrain.
