Perfect. Cosy, comfortable and very well equipped.

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at finchfield house. Inside the property is lovely, cosy and comfortable. Very well equipped with everything you need. The welcome hamper of Welsh cakes and fresh eggs was a bonus. Outside the gardens are well kept with ample parking. The property is in a quiet area but still in walking distance to local amenities. The shop is a 2 minute walk away. Tenby is a 45 minute walk along the coastal path and Saundersfoot I guess about 30 minutes, both easily reached by car. Parking is pretty cheap too, most we paid was £5 for the full day in Saundersfoot.

Food recommendations. The fish and chip van is very tasty and 5 minutes down the road. The royal oak in Saundersfoot serves excellent food at very reasonable prices we ordered Chinese take way from China town which was good.

Days out. Folly farm was excellent. Very good value for money, you can spend the whole day there. The play areas are probably the best we have seen. We also went to Blue lagoon waterpark but unfortunately it was fully booked, I would definitely advise to book if the weather isn't great. The beaches are always a hit. Tenby and Saundersfoot have beautiful clean beaches. It's a lovely costal walk from Saundersfoot to wisemans bridge.

Although the weather wasn't great we still had a brilliant holiday and would definitely recommend a stay at finchfield. It is the perfect Base to explore.

The house is beautiful and the photos don't do it any justice.

Thank you Lisa. X

  • 5 of 5

The stay was very much home from home. We have never stayed in a holiday property which was so well equipped for every eventuality. It was perfect for our trip with young grandchildren (4 and 6) , in a perfect spot for all the various outings to suit all ages.

Lovely house - perfect for children - in a gorgeous peaceful location nearby to Tenby

  • 5 of 5

Extremely clean and very nice house with everything for children. I totally recommend! Our 19 month old loved the space, the garden and toys. The cot, high chair and stair gates were fab.

It's set in a quiet location near to Tenby and Saundersfoot - we walked to both. Also near the most beautiful little beach that is only 15min walk. A shop is just over the road. We didn't think much of the local pub but it did have a play area.

Lisa was great to communicate with and the welcome pack was great.

Tenby is the best seaside town. So much to do and see with lovely beaches. Manobier castle was fun as was folly farm and Blue Lagoon water park. Oh and the little tunnels along the cliffs at saundersfoot.

If you like Indian definitely try the Bay of Bengal in Tenby. Lovely food and views.

Overall we had an amazing holiday. The house was a great base but also a home from home - we enjoyed chilling out there too.

lovely house

  • 5 of 5

The house was great. Lovely and clean, spacious and everything in it you could need. As a smoker, it would have been nice to have a shelter of some sort in the back garden, especially when it rains, otherwise brilliant.
