Chris Torrens purchased this house in 2015
Just back from a fabulous stay at Cliffhanger, cerebrating New year with a party of 10 friends. The house is located, just a few minutes walk from the main Cowes High Street and was perfect for us. Being spacious and very well equipped; it fulfilled all of our needs. Its tough to find such a high quality house with 5 good double bedrooms and a fantastic location. With New Year becoming a tradition for our group; this has to be one of the best ever. The owner is very very easy to deal with; responded very promptly to all communications and was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.
This is probably the best holiday rental house we have stayed in. Loads of space for two families (ten of us in total). House was very clean, well furnished and warm. Excellent location - five minutes walk into centre of Cowes.
Communication with Chris was prompt and easy. We would thoroughly recommend this property.
Richard and Jenny Eley.
We were a group of 10 and had a lovely comfortable stay, superb location and a great size house for a family party.
Our stay at Cliffhanger was delightful. As a party of 9 that included two children, we were spoiled for space in which to sit together and enjoy each other's company.
The house itself is done up to a high standard and had all the amenities one could ask for. Its location also made it ideal.
Communications with the owner has been prompt and helpful and we benefited greatly from the detailed instructions left on site .
We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends planning a visit to the Isle of Wight.
Fantastic, spacious property well located in the centre of Cowes. Great for families or larger groups.
Myself and 5 others stayed at the property for a long weekend in February. The property is in fantastic condition and set out over 5 floors with a wonderful roof terrace. There was plenty of space within the property with 5 good sized bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and TV room.
The booking process with Chris was really easy and he was able to accommodate a later check out time to suit our plans (this was helped by the fact the property was not booked for the next day but all the same this was something which not all owners would have been so accommodating of).
Location wise the property is 2 minutes from the centre of Cowes so ideal for walking to the pub and other amenities.
Our family celebrated Christmas at this gorgeous house. So comfortable with beautifully appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. So many interesting aspects from the spiral staircase to the fabulous view from the roof. Also very central to the town area which was an added bonus . Highly recommend .
