The Eden project provides a fascinating day out for everyone with several excellent cafes. We also recommend a trip to St Mawgan; a picture perfect village with a pub (The Falcon) which has a beautiful beer garden, quaint tea rooms,a church, village green and Japanese gardens, its only 1.5 miles from Watergate Bay beach so you can combine a trip to visit both places. There are a wealth of activities for you to enjoy within easy reach, for example, Golfing, fishing, surfing, sailing , coastal walks, swimming and cycling (camel trail etc) to name a few. For avid fishermen, there are two lakes nearby , white acres fisheries is only 2 miles away and Oak side fishing lake only 1.4 ,miles also easily walkable.
