Shippon End, Dittisham, is a mews style barn conversion with great character and atmosphere. The cottage has been recently redecorated throughout and is furnished in the cottage style with uniquely quirky odd corner angles, lending an extra charm. There is a newly refurbished fully equipped kitchen and oil fired central heating for all year round comfort and the sitting room has long windows looking out onto the thirteenth Century church and village. The river, shop, church, Ferryboat Inn and Red Lion pub are all within walking distance. The cottage is situated within Dittisham Court which has lovely communal grounds with river views. The cottage is accessed via a small set of steps to front door which opens into a hall leading to the sitting room with dining area, painted pine dresser, attractive matching furnishings, comfy settee, chairs and TV, DVD and CD player. The well equipped kitchen features new cream units and black work tops, with electric hob and oven, integrated fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Off the hall is also a cloakroom with toilet and basin. Downstairs there are two bedrooms – a double with pine bedstead and pine and oak furniture plus a built in wardrobe and a twin room with fitted wardrobe and pine furniture. The bathroom has an electric shower over bath, toilet and basin.
